It's been widely accepted that the Warmaster Greater Deamons are perfect for Epic, (and that a specific Epic range of them would be pointless duplication of these - one of the few happy stories for epic).

Apols if you were just having a laugh about how well painted it is, such that it makes it difficult to tell that it's a small scale figure... :)

Also comments aren't supposed to be made in the competition thread itself, just entries.

Thanks - I only just managed to get these ready on time - the comp closes in 45minutes!

Anyway - lots of colours: olive drab as basecoat over a white undercoat, to begin with, applied a little more thinly at the top. Two shades of brown - dark earth and dark tan - and light green, black and white were used for some of the many square panels which adorn the beasties. One had dark earth feet, the other has gun metal ones, and the latter was applied to all the weapons. The cockpit canopy was painted bright orange, with some of the paint kep light to permit the white undercoat to feature and give a degree of shading. The usual flesh wash, followed by a sand drybrush applied lightly over the lot. The chin guns have a red muzzle flash (as do all the firing posture troops' guns), but I don;t think it can be seen in the pics. That's all.  :)

Wow, and to think I painted most of my stuff red. :)

The models certainly have a lot of depth to them and now I understand why.  I need to learn how to paint better...
