Copilot - "Football?"
Pilot - "Roger!"

So if I want to use this art in a army list/book how does permissions work? I have to ask the artists and GW? Or just the artist?

Awesome.

I think you need to ask the artist.

Ask the artist, and include a disclaimer about copyrighted symbols.

Oddly enough I've been plowing through Deviant Art myself the last couple of weeks. Some of the art on there is utterly stunning...

Not as superbly well done as yours but this one in particular struck my fancy as a having some good potential as an Ordinatus for Epic:

http://malaveldt.deviantart.com/art/Cha ... y-54167741

Maybe a pair of E40K Shadowswords sans superstructure as the prime movers... With a Necron pylon mounted on the trailer.

Need a couple of munitionschleppers as well for the power supply so it would end up being more of an objective than a playable mini but it would make the GW ordinati look inadequate by comparison I think.

I have been using this pic as my desktop for several months.  Simply awesome.

Wouldn't the tracks on the LR melt when you enter orbit?

I always thought the landing craft used big ablative shields on its two cargo areas, but how would a thawk transporter cope?

Entering orbit doesn't create anything like the friction that entering an atmosphere does.

Possibily a similar disposable shield is used for Thunderhawk Transporters.
