Wow, nice stuff. How did they get away with using Rhinos and Land Raiders on there landing craft?

Probably because they are hacking up the minis to create each one rather than using casting.

They look really good, I like those objectives.

I wonder what they used to make the buildings?  Are those the plastic Epic 40K ruins?

Can you provide a link?

I've tried looking for those sprues but haven't had any luck.

I don't recall such tall ruin pieces.  Maybe I'll call the local GW store and see if they can order any.

Legion 4, could you provide some links with tutorials for your creations?  One can never get too much inspiration!

Thanks!

@Breten - Sure can, search for part # 99399999024.  They aren't listed on the US site at least unless you search for them specifically.  No idea on the rest of the world.

@Ed - If you look close in the bottom picture, the tall building is actually the same pieces stacked on top of each other.  You can notice the joint line there.  It looks like Sabol just took off the bottom inch or so and glued it atop the same ruin type to make a taller building.

As to what they did with the bottom 1 inch them cut off, it's actually the short building right in front of the tall one. It has the Tau Fusion Blaster on its roof.

Looks like they've cut and pasted together some of the "taller" ruined pieces from GW to get even taller pieces.

Thanks Ed !  I just pick up my ideas from all sources ! Movies, books, real life, etc.  I don't use any off the wall techniques, and as you can see in the pics of my terrain, it's just basic stuff.  Feel free to ask ! :D

IIRC this was a one-off sale of some custom terrain, not a regualar stock item.
