I took Andy's restrictions to mean he wants something along the lines of the Fanatic articles for White Scars and Speed Freeks.  Once you take out the pics and scenarios and stuff those are basically one page or less plus the army list.  New units are minimal and could be represented by current minis with little (or no) conversion.

Definitely let us know Andy's response on the new units.

I've got an idea I might have a go at for this competition, but between planning the launch event of our gaming centre this month, and Euro EpiCon in October, I'm not sure I'm gonna have time...  :(

Hi all,

Got a response from Andy re inclusion of unit stats/descriptions.  He said (paraphrasing slightly) that he is not averse to including unit stats and short rule descriptions for brand new units, but wants to keep submission sizes down.  ie make submissions like the speedfreaks/whitescars lists I guess.

So, who all's participating in this competition? ?Sounds like they've had a really good turn out... which is a shame... ?:D

I... wound up submitting *nine* different armies... one for each of the "races"... I think my wife is a little cheesed at the time I spent on this... *LAUGH*

Chaos Cultists - Daemonic Hordes, daemons and their twisted followers right out of the Eye of Terror!

Chaos Space Marines - Alpha Legion Uprising, infiltrating Chaos Marines and Cultist make a dangerour combination!

Eldar - Yme-Loc Craftworld, sly Eldar relying heavily on their grav-tanks and Titans.

Imperial Guard - Cadians, two lists showing the elite Guardsmen on the defense and the offense.

Orks - Blood Axes, kunning Orks with looted Imperial vehicles and sneaky taktics!

Necrons - Necron Raiders, the walking metal dead, appearing from no where to perform their despicable deeds.

Space Marines - Imperial Crusade, the forces of the Imperium fighting along side each other for the glory of the Emperor!

Tau - Battlesuit Strike Force, a focus on the high tech suits that make this young race so formidable.

Tyranids - Phase III "Attack", Bugs rain down from the sky and devour all they find!

Some of it was stuff I'd been working on before, but this motivated me to get things done! ?*laugh*

Saint like, I submitted none :p What free time I have I'm devoting to the handbook and getting the main rules and lists fixed up.

Interesting to see Jervis will be judging along with Andy. Maybe I should enter the handbook... :;):
