As promised, the "change docs" are now posted to my file gallery on Wiki Wiki War.

These are my attempt at consolidating all the various official, experimental, army champion, FAQ and answer-mod changes and clarifications into a single document.

For the most part I think I have followed consensus opinion.  In some cases where opinion was divided it was necessary to craft a compromise.  In a few rare cases where no compromise could be reached I just made a judgement call.

These are, of course, a work in progress.

I would love to get feedback.  Everything from rule intent to grammar and typos is fair game as far as I'm concerned.  Just keep in mind that this is a "plain jane" document with minimal formatting for legibility and don't gig me too hard on stuff like widow/orphans and other technical layout stuff.

There seems to be a cut-n-paste error in the "Concept and commentary section of 6.16, as it refers to garrisons on overwatch, not setup.


6.16 Setup Remaining Formations
Status: Experimental/Controversial
Perceived issue:  The procedure for setting up ?reserve? formations is not clear.
Concept and commentary: Allow garrisons to begin the on Overwatch to offset the vulnerability of their advanced position

I thought that the War Engine proposal for Marauder Bombers had been the most popular?

Vindicators @ 75pts each are still overpriced IMHO (Upgrades normally grant a discount as compared to taking a formation, not an increase in cost).

Are the Imperial Navy and Titan Legion point value changes applicable to the Adeptus Astartes Army List as well?

Non-stacking special abilities - Inspiring was obviously meant to stack, to my mind.

Flame Templates: No extra BM for each additional flame template weapon?

Yes, and for L&D for that matter. No-brainers like that will be clear in the handbook at least.

Inspiring stacks if multiple *units* in a formation have it, not if it's on a *single* unit multiple times...  

Heck, other that putting two Exarchs on the same stand, I'm not sure how you can get two instances of inspiring on one unit...
