Hey guys,

Recently he had three games of German vs Allied Normandy Action.

The pics will be below.

On the allied side we had

British Armored Company
Canadian Rifle company
American Armored Rifles

German

Grenadier Company
Panzer Grenadier Company (motorised)
Panzaer Grenadier Company (unknown)

The tables looked great.  My table had lots of cool buildings, but no bocage, sad but I have to work on that.  The other tables had few buildings but lots of boacage.

So it worked out.

Ther Germans were dug in and had to defend.  The allies had some air support and artillety.

I was on the table playing Germans against the British Armored Company. The force was being run by two newbies so it was realtively simple tactically, but busy because I was instructing.  At the end they thought they had lost but I showed them  how to launch a coordinated attack and they took their objective.  The allied artillery proved to be the bane of my tanks.  I lost two tanks against strikes from 105's.  Ouch!

The boacage proved decisive in the games being very difficult to spot the Germans  before they blasted you.

So it was a German victory overall.  But we will be back.

Dan's Table

Damn Tigers!   :;):

Rob's Table

I wouldn't make that turn if I were you...

Lou's Table

Oh the armored Carnage!

Enjoy

By the way - lots of flaming tanks in the last pics! What went wrong?
The bocage again - must be nasty fighting in that lot :(
