Good lord, what's that green stuff? Greenstuff? How did you manage such exquisite structural detail with putty?

The more I see the chemical plant, the more I want it. Nice work with the greenstuff.

Hehe, I wish my GS skills were that good. I'm afraid it is just colored plastic on the Faller N scale refinery.

Is that what those other buildings are in there? I'm surprised N scale works so well with Epic.
Is that generator thing that's in front on the second picture from the Faller kit as well?

No, the generator is a Forge World strategem. I just wanted something more engine-looking so it wouldn't be just pipes and pressure vessels.

I've finished construction on the refinery and given it a black undercoat ready for some drybrushing and washes. Also I've ben tinkering with a few other terain projects:
Firstly I discovered an old ruined imperial capitol I never got around to finishing. I've added some rubble and oter bitz to it but I still can't decide if more is needed before I give it the black undercoat.
Secondly, using the wonderful Conflix construction set, I've aded some detail to a pair of bridge ramps I started long ago as well. The idea is that the two ramps will fit into my city system in a number of diferent ways allowing me to construct regular bridges, highways etc and raise to therrain to the same level as my hills. It should be interesting once finished.
Thirdly I've been adding a few more details to some AT era polystyrene buildings. I think I posted pics of one of these long ago. Well I've built two more ?where I'm now in the process of adding stuff like aircondition fans etc. The fans are greenstuff recasts of the fans from the SM era plastic rooftops. Not the crispiest detail, but they do the job and are fairly inexpensive to make.
Finally I've been tinkering a bit with a titan repair bay. Again using some bitz from the Conflix system and some AT era polystyrene buildings. Hopefully it should turn out interesting though it is still at a very early stage.
I will of course post some pics once things are more or less finished.

Whoa! I only just noticed this. Great refinery... Oh, and you didn't cannibalise the bridge section connecting the two large tanks from a SdKFz 251 engineering halftrack, now did you?

Ah, you have very sharp eyes indeed sir. However this time I'm afraid they decieve you They are a tank accessory though. More specifically a microarmour girder bridge. I'm not sure exactly where it's from but it looks similar to the ones mounted on british Churchill engineering tanks in WWII. I've since removed it from the model though. I might post a few pics of the progress if I have time to snap some durig the weekend. We just started back at Uni so this week has been a real killer so far (a 14 hour day today with not nearly enough sleep last night. I'm utterly exhausted... ?)

As promised here's the pics. Still a lot of work to do before they're ready for a paint job. I'm particularly happy about the AT polystyrene buildings: Nice to have some really big and bulky buildings to hide titans behind

Thanks guys.
Been tinkering a bit more with the Titan Repair Yard. Still at the mock up stage, I want to add some technological looking equipment that might be used when repairing/rearming titans.
Another quick idea that popped into my head was usig the halves of the large tanks in the refinery set as aircraft hangars. I still haven't decided if this is how I want to use mine, but I still thought I'd show the idea in case someone wanted to nick it. (As a side note I think the small tanks might be suitable as army baracks ifor objectives or similar.
