This from Warseer. Apocalypse rumour.
As the tau empire expands into more diverse worlds, they have found their traditional strategies to sometimes fail them. Whether due to unforseen methods of enemy engagement, hostile or unusual terrain or objectives or even simple bad luck, several more progressive sects have initialised research into a greater variety of support units and weaponry in order that commanders in the field have units to cope with the growing diversity of battlefields upon which they must do battle. While most of these units are still in their experimental phases, two designs have met with great enthusiasm from the fire caste and have been vetted by the ethereals for immediate combat depoloyment. Following the disastrous attempt at taking the imperial world Secate V, the first of these new assets was created. Secate's highly charged atmosphere and dense hives made traditional manta support nigh impossible and so tau landing forces were decimated by fast moving recon elements of the legio infernus titan legion. Without air power to neutralise the fast moving reavers and warhounds, in the confined spaces of the towering manufactoria and hives the imperial titans proved too powerful for even tau firepower to overcome. From this lesson the bullshark was conceptualised. At once a mobile command post and fire centre, the bullshark is large enough to threaten even imperial super heavy armor and small enough to engage in dense urban environments where air caste fire missions prove ineffective. The bullshark is equipped with state of the art command and communications equipment as well as lethal tau weaponry capable of engaging and defeating even medium sized titans. The highly adaptable chassis is designed to act as anything from a linebreaker to a combat support or medicae facility
Just to let you know that I will be going through the threads here soon.

Fine in concept but...
"Bullshark"?! Sounds ridiculous... yes, I'm aware there's a real shark called that. Can you imagine any time a Tau player does something percieved as "beardy"... "Well that's a load of bullshark!"
A better name could certainly have been chosen.

If they were in the Rumors section, they've been moved to the Rules Development forum, meaning they're just fan-made rules, and not an official 40K unit coming out for Apocalypse.

I like the name! We couldn't come up with anything solid so someone's taken it out of our hands. /applause Whether or not it's fan-based matters not to me. Sounds very rugged.
