Well, I've made a start, I've painted the Preds & the Hunter today, and started on the Assault Marines.

Busy, busy, busy!  :confuse:

These aren't the best paint job I've ever done, but I think it's effective enough - not to mention nice and quick! :D

Nice thread firestorm. I love looking at a project unfolding in one place like this ?:)

You?ve got allot of really cool conversions which make this army unique. I particularly like the look of the ?Super Basilisks? or should I call them ?Brimstone variant Decimators?? The pieces you?ve chosen for them work together really well and I can?t wait to see them painted.

Any chance of a Chaos group photo of all the stuff you?ve painted so far? ? :;): ? :)

Thanks everyone! :)  @ Turret Gunner, thanks very much, I'll do a group-army shot at some point soon after the army is finished - so in the next few weeks...

Today I've been priming a lot of things, I started work on the Thunderhawk and the two Hell Talon bombers, and I painted these Assault Marines.

Thanks guys! :D  I'm a painting machine that's on overdrive now, I've got three weeks in which to get it all finished... :confuse:

Today I:

- added some detailing to the Thunderhawk;
- drybrushed and started ink washing the Chaos aircraft;
- painted the base colours on the Iron Warriors Brimstone Heavy Artillery (as I've now decided to call them :;): )

as well as chipping away at terrain stuff.  More pics soon!  :)

Today I (almost!) finished the Thunderhawk - I say almost, because as I set it down to photograph it, I realised I'd not put any Chapter Insignia on it... :glare:

Aside from this, I've been doing detailing on those Brimstones, and ink-washes on the Chaos Aircraft.

Nice work on those marines firestorm. The contrast between the marines black armour and the colour of the bases works well.

Thanks, everyone! :) ?Well, I've added the Chapter & Clan Insignia to my Iron Hands Thunderhawk, and I've finished the Iron Warrior's Brimstone Heavy Artillery:



Only thing, I forgot to add the Legion Symbol (again! :glare: :confuse: ) so I may go back to them and add this at a later date...

So now I need to make a couple of Traitor/Cultist command stands, and pain the Chaos Aircraft - all in 2 1/2 weeks...
