Here's the Battlestation:



Stats are as follows:
Battlestation????????????..?????..200 points
Larger and more heavily armed than their smaller counterparts, Battlestations tend to perform the same functions as Space stations but are usually found orbiting more strategically important planets. Permanently manned by experienced Navy personnel, these vast structures rival Navy battleships in mass and firepower, and are fully capable of defending a system against even several enemy capital ships. In the Hyperion subsector, the chain of systems in closest proximity with the dangerous Eastern Fringe all benefited from the protection of a Battlestation in orbit around their prime worlds, many of which had been in service for millennia.

Speed: 0
Turns: 0
Shields: 4
Armour: 5+
Turrets: 5

Armament Firepower/ Str Range/ Speed
Weapons battery 16 60cm All round
Lance battery 4 60cm All round
Launch bays 4 squadrons Fighters:30cm ? ? Bombers: 20cm N/a

Special rules
Battlestations are crewed by experienced Navy personnel, so they have a nominal Leadership score of 8.
In campaign games, only a single Battlestation may occupy each star system.
Battlestations are available to both Imperial and Chaos fleets.

Feel free to playtest. This creation has already been put through its paces in an extended campaign. I've seen it fight off several Eldar capital ships by itself, been completely pounded to wreckage by Nova cannon fire, and taken out rather horribly with pyro-acid batteries and tyranid boarding actions. It seems to be able to hold its own, but is definately not invincible.

I have  lot of stuff like this, I get my kicks building things.
I will do my best to provide some better pics- a day or 2 max. You'll have to let me think a bit about how it was made though, not sure I can remember currently!

Yerh its 'ard to see all da bitz ya used n how ya used em.
A fine looking model like this should have a build-blog :;):
By the lookz of it this model could be proxied as a BSF.
Im also thinking it would be cool to have it upgradeable.

I'll have a think and put together a build log for the beastie, I didnt do one while constructing it, didnt think anyone would be interested!
'Afraid you got me with another acronym - proxied as a BSF?? Sorry, I'm old  ???

As for upgrades, I was a bit scared to offer it upgrades in case my mates complained, but feel free to experiment with it.
Incidentally, what on earth happened to my photo if it? Are these the upgrades you were thinking of? (strapping 3 of them together!)  :D
