Hey peeps, I've been considering converting some classic stompas and could do with a little help.  I think they might look good with tracks instead of the gargant type feet so was gonna chop off the feet add weapons to 1 to make it a supa stompa and add tracks to all 3 but i can't think of what i can use as a track base, I don't think any other models could be easily converted in to a trackbase for the old plastic stompas...
any suggestions???

Hey Twenty.
I used an old plastic Landraider as the base of one of my Supa Stompas.

Came out pretty good. I'd seen the idea somewhere before but I can't remember where.
Have fun with it... You can't really go wrong with Orks! :alien:

thanks but nah that looks rubbish!! great paint job mind you but I don't think it look quite right, it looks to much like a landrader with a stompa glued on and think it looks a little to high off the ground, any other ideas....

Well,  I like them a lot.  When I saw them,  I thought I would go and convert some of my own.

But I think you guys are talking about 2 different things, right?

Tweety wants to replace the feet on the stompas for trakks while onyx turned his stompas into soopastompas by adding the extra rider.

Am I right?

No worries twenty... your original question isn't very clear then.
"add weapons to 1 to make it a supa stompa"
" but not really looking to make supastompers"

I shall make sure not to offer any more advice/help to you as my conversions are "rubbish".

Sorry onxy i was just kiddin, but crappy sense of humour I think ur stompas look really really good.  What i meant was I want to convert 3 of my plastic stompas all 3 with tracks as feet and 1 of the 3 a super stompa.  I think urs look mint but I want a smaller base for the tracks..

again no disrepect to your great orky supa stompa..

The LR can work if you cut off the track "plates" and glue them either side.  Similarly Rhinos or Ork B-Wagons are also ok for this.  For the Supa Stompa, take the bigger plastic Stompa and hollow out the "arch" at base of the front piece to make a cavity for a "mini-gutbuster"...plastic tube will do.  Add a new floor and the track parts and you got a really cheap Super- Stompa....or use two Rhinos for more mass.
