Hello,
I've been working on my army cards for NetEPIC V5. Unfortunately not as nice as those JoyrexJ9 made here, but far more complete : I've finished the Adeptus Mechanicus, Adeptus Astares, Adeptus Militaris, Eldars, Squats and Orcs codex. More will come.
They are available here.
I gave away using silhouettes, because it's hard to find one for each unit, and also because sometimes different models can be used (think of falcons). To compensate, I tryed to put much info, like pinning class, weapon names, etc...
As usual comments are welcome. I'm also looking for volunteers to check these cards, but I agree this will be a painful task. Someone already proposed to read the Imperial Guard ones.

Nice. ?Simple and effective. ?I will admit that I am a fan of the silhouettes, but that's 'cause I'm a fuddy-duddy ol' SM2 player. ?These cards are very nice, visually appealing and have all the info you need. ?Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more!

Nice! no frills, plenty of info!

I think the main thing about siluoettes is the visual sense of what you've got.    Perhaps someone else will have a go at silouettes to go on these later!? But it's much better to have all the cards done.

I was thinking of doing a summary of special rules for each army. do you think you'll manage to fit most of these on the unit cards?  I notice you've done some, like the tremor cannon.

Initial thoughts:
Eldar cards- you missed the 'u' in Guardian.
the Eldar Knights colour is weird, and kinda horrible  :D which I like.
I'd prefer the pinning class (good inclusion that)  on the front, to partialy replace the lack of silouette- good for people who forget what the weird-named stuff is. not sure if it would really help that much though.  Maybe something like CC infantry, shooty inf, AA tank- or maybe that's too simple?

Anyway, they're very good as they are- so don't get bogged-down too much in making changes.

I'll try and a check through the SM and/or Eldar ones sometime this week.

These are great....nice work.  I too like silhouettes and have done my Iron Warriors cards just by cutting and pasting from the old SM2 ones, but it is hard work.  As some suggestions for a deluxe version (or if I had yours as a starting point) I'd probably make the coloured "text bubbles" at the top and bottom rectangles for a more classic look, and perhaps try fitting in a single silhouette of the unit type for a bit of visual appeal.

Hi!

Great stuff!!

These can be used as they are or as a template to add images later.

Again, great cards!

I'm a fan too of the silhouettes, for the mass effect and for the quick identification. For the moment I prefer those cards than no card with silhouette, but I'm really considering adding them.

Eldar cards- you missed the 'u' in Guardian.
Confusion with french. Noted.

the Eldar Knights colour is weird, and kinda horrible :D ?which I like.
I had no clue on what color/identification to use. Do not hesitate to propose something else, personnaly I like the current version ?:;):

I'd prefer the pinning class (good inclusion that) ?on the front, to partialy replace the lack of silouette- good for people who forget what the weird-named stuff is. not sure if it would really help that much though. ?Maybe something like CC infantry, shooty inf, AA tank- or maybe that's too simple?
I wanteed to put army preparation information (size, costs, ...) on one side, and in-game data on the other side. I think that if you want to know what those units can do, you just have to turn the card. Or draw silhouette :;):

I'll try and a check through the SM and/or Eldar ones sometime this week.Much thanks for this.

I was thinking of doing a summary of special rules for each army. do you think you'll manage to fit most of these on the unit cards? ?I notice you've done some, like the tremor cannon. It depends, some cards are already full. I'll have to try one at a time. Good request anyway.

I'd probably make the coloured "text bubbles" at the top and bottom rectangles for a more classic look, and perhaps try fitting in a single silhouette of the unit type for a bit of visual appeal.I'll try the rectangle "text bubbles" version, but I like the current one. And I think that a single silhouette will miss the mass effect. I'll prefer multiple smaller ones.

They look good. I prefer silhouettes too, but as Primarch mentioned, images could be added later.

One other thing, Eldar usually doesn't have an "s" at the end. I noticed that on some of the cards you "Eldars", but should probably be "Eldar".

Chaos cards are finished.

I updated the cards with some of your comments.
But :
*I keeped the title in bubble form. Because NetEPIC is not SM/TL.
*Silhouettes will definitely be hard to add. I lack some of them, and some cards wont have enough place. Have a look at some Imperial Guard company cards...

All looking good again. ?Your Tau cards have obviously been constructed using the original 5.0 Tau list. ?Since then the Tau have undergone a fair amount of playtesting and this resulted in some significant changes. ?The current version of the book (V5.3) can be found here: NetEpic Files (look under the NetEpic 5.0 folder). ?If you don't have access to this folder, just PM me and I'll send you a copy.

Keep up the good work!
