1/56th? That's an odd scale. Nice looking model, though.

Isn't that 28 or 30mm? I saw someone asking if it was 1/56 elsewhere, and he didn't get a denial.

Yeah, it's probably something like that. But for someone like me who grew up with 1/48th and 1/72nd, 1/56th is kind of an oddball scale. 1/60th would make more sense.

Yep, I commanded a Company of 14 M113A1s in 1/58 Mech ! ?Nice to be remembered ! Thanks "V" ! Brings back memories ! In Korea with the 2ID, our M113s had ACAV turrets. When I got stateside, 2 years later, I wanted to order them for the whole 197th Mech Bde. But request was denied with no explanation ... However, the Bde traded in most of their M113s for M2 Bradleys a couple years later. The DOD probably didn't want to spend the $$$, knowing the M113s were on their way out ! Who knows ? ?Thanks again, "Vermis" !

Saw this one on one of the gaming news sites. Couldn't help but think that with a weapon swap, some armor/panel line additions around the hull and a few other bits it would make a good sci-fi piece.
