Well, talk about thread-romancy! :D  I drag this thread out, after nearly 3 months, to post pics of the first of my own miniatures that I've painted since I was in England...

Here's a Land Raider detachment for my Iron Warriors army:



I painted these yesterday - I decided to take a break from terrain.  However, this isn't totally removed from all that other stuff I've been doing: I'm going to run a BIG Epic participation game at the Launch Weekend of our wargaming facilities this September; it'll be 11-12,000 point battle between Chaos & Iron Hands Marines set on Medusa during the 13th Black Crusade (Eye of Terror campaign).

So for this I've got to finish this Iron Warriors Army (4 formations to go); paint Traitor mechanised & armour units; paint Slaaneshi daemons; and 2-3 more units for my (currently) 3,500 point Iron Hands army.

Expect the sporadic progress to be reported here.  Thanks for looking! :) :cool:

Otterman, the Chevrons are free hand - I paint yellow on black by working up from Blazing Orange until I'm using a mix of Golden Yellow & Skull White.  That's how I've been doing it for years, but I recently discovered that it's easier to work from Bronzed Flesh when painting Yellow.  But I'd alread painted half my Iron Warriors using the old technique! :glare:

Thank you for your positive comments! :)  The sporadic paint-athon continues.  Over the last week or so (it could be longer, the weeks have started to blur for me :confuse:) I've been chipping away at these Predators:
