Mmmmh. Spikey...

Looks pretty good. Many od thw spures look like they have very cool Epic titan bitz on them... Too bad they couldn't assemble al those bitz on a single spure and leave all the useless 40k scale stuff (like arms and heads etc.) for the 40k crowd... :p

Dunno - good quality, but I think they're overdoing the spiky bits thing. Useful for gathering Autumn leaves, though.
I disliked the mutations sprue - some bits seem to fit better on Nids! Aww, who cares, the Raptor pack wings are useful for flying Epic Nid Beastie conversions, anyway  :p

The banner poles on the sprue in the first pic are sweet.  Those things will look awesome on a titan.

With my chaos stuff (mainly BFG) I felt the overwealming need to de skull and spike it. I feel i would do the same to these chaps as well.

Oh, more Space Marines for 40K, Games Workshop? How very original. So we did Black Space Marines, Dark Green Space Marines, now it's the Bad Space Marines, and next is probably the Off-Blue Space Marines again.

How it sickens me!   This is a third of why I got into Epic.

Another third is love of tiny tanks, and the final third is the quality of the Epic ruleset.

Chief Librarian Mephiston
Commander Dante
Brothe Corbulo
Space Marines Council box set (Master of the Fleet, Master of the Arms, Master of the Vehicles)

I have not played W40k since new edition came out. But they do make many fine figures. Some nice bits in there.

Iron within......

Cheers

You forgot:

- New Comissars (which look pretty good!)
- New Ogryns (which also look pretty good)
- and plastic Baneblade

There are rumours there'll be a Necron Pylon & 'Nid Trygon, too.  Oh, the Blood Angels characters are for the Blood Angels codex supplement coming with a future issue of White Dwarf apparently.

I like the new Chaos stuff, and will be buying it - 40k Chaos is one of those armies where you can just cut everything to pieces, and come up with something unique and (appropriately) twisted.

As for all the Apocalypse stuff, I can't help but laugh (and laugh, and laugh) when I think about it:  all these 40k players getting excited and going 'wow, we can now use warmachines, detachments, and Super-heavy tanks in our games!'

To which I say, 'great, good for you!  Now, if you played Epic, you'd have had all of those things for nearly Twenty years...' :p

i think ill be adding a squad of termies to my 'random stuff' collection..

as for the Apocalypse stuff, dont get me started on superheavy tanks in 28mm scale...

plus i wind the 40k only lot up.. baneblades make good traction for a warlord after all... :p

Exactly what I thought! :)

Looks like a better option for me than hunting down old Epic Chaos titan parts. I will try to just get spares from people to avoid supporting 40k in any way though... especially this ridiculous 'apocalypse' thing

Are the Ogryns metal, or plastic?
