i have 10 jet bikes and i want to use them in the next game. can someone give me the rules, cost and size for this units?

Use them as land speeders or bikes.

I too have those oldies, and I use them as bikes.

hey but then you loose the variety of the models and this one reason why i play epic. i think there should be sperate rules for the jet bikes which should be different to all others. because every unit in epic is singular!

I use mine as bikes with skimmer ability, otherwise the stats are basically the same, as L4 would say, it works for me  :D

that sounds good but it would be better if there is a rule for each unit even if it is an old one which is not part of the actual netepic

Heh Kai,

They'll be included in the 5.1 update of the army list.  See errata thread:
SM errata  Posts 10 and 13.

Primarch said it's ok, so it will be in the next update when it finally happens.

I'm fine thanks, if a bit unemployed.

I believe there's no timetable at all.  All depends on how much time people have.  OzTenaka (who was gathering the errata) seems to be having a little break, no doubt due to that annoying real life business.  And there are plenty more books to get errata for yet, and all the arguments that go with them.  So, a fairly long way to go I'm sure.

Obviously Marines shouldn't really have ever got Jetbikes.  But everyone wants to use what they've got.

Actually just noticed posts on the Netepic mailing list, and someone wanted stats for these, and someone else suggesting they should be Dark Angels Special Cards only (not you, the army!  :p ).  But I expect they'll stay available to all.

I like the idea of Marines having Jetbikes. They had them in AT/SM1. Why not now? They're not all that different from Land Speeders.

yes, i think you are right and it is a good idea 35 cm move cost value 200 and the rest like normal bikes!

and every space marine chapter should take them...

i think it is very varied to put old units back in game...and why not if there are models then there must be rules...and by the way, they are well done

I didn't mean to say I was against the idea, just that they shouldn't have been made at all.  I just like lists to be distinct form each other.  But since the models were made, you should of course use them.

In reality I let most things into our games.  Included units of Suicide Rats (Fantasy Battle swarm rats with mines on their back!), and some highly inaccurate Vortex creation weapons, mounted on Rhinos.  For Marine armies- very appropriate I'm sure you'll agree!  :confuse:
