Still working on the "do something, no matter how minor, every day" theory.  Have chipped away and most of the Guild Bikers are done.  I did go off the rails a little last night and painted the basic scheme on my Iron Warriors Reaver.  I need to round out the IWs, so I don't feel so guilty.

I did put a decal on the Leviathan though :).  Also toyed with the idea of putting the preatorians on bases...still undecided on that one.

Ok, tonights' work.  Still some minor side tracks to finish off the Horde and Iron Warrior armies, but Squats are getting done.  Tried Woodland Green instead of DA this time.....they are not that light in the flesh.  The second vehicle is my RCV conversion (ex Storm Hammer)

I'll get decent photos on the weekend when I base and varnish everything, and see the sunlight :)

I like the Warmaster stuff there too.  I used that one piece for a C'tan conversion. :)

New Liche Lord and Liche Magi for the Hordes of Evil army :).  Very nice figures to paint.

WARNING!  - my camera died. Dead. Gone. Never to return. My personal recommendation to all of you:  Never by a Kodak digital camera.  I have the Easyshare c530 and this is the second one to die just past the 30 day warranty.  The first one lasted all of 31 days.  Kodak sent me a new one grudgingly.  My second one lasted a whopping 60 days.  Both have issues powering up that are not battery related.

So now I am using my wife's digital camera (a Samsung) which takes lousy pictures, but at least it works.

I will post clearer pictures as they come in.

Here is the completed Aeonic Orb.  The light has been installed and it illuminates the vaseline glass beautifully.

Here is a blurry shot in the dark, but you can see how powerfully the orb is illuminated.

Another slightly better shot.

By the way anyone have recommendations on digital cameras that they have had for a year or more?  Something that I can afford (under $200US preferably).

Really? My wife's camera is an Easyshare and it has operated flawlessly for over a year now.

All that remains for the Orb is to flock it and glue it together, which brings me to my next piece for the Necron army...

The Warbarque. :D

For anyone who is asking, "What the heck?" I will fill in the blanks.

Years ago GW was designing a vehicle for the Necrons. ?They came up with a couple of ideas one of which was the Warbarque (or War Altar). ?See the history here.
Ultimately they went in a different direction and came up with the Monolith, but the model prototype images remain.

Others had tried modeling it exactly, and I took a stab at it as well.  I managed to do a good job on the body but felt that it was too stubby for a war engine and needed some distinction.  So I cast the original body, cut it, lengthened it, and started over.  The result is what you see here.
