Here is the full army:

Well, as i've got a pretty big army i wanted a few different army scheme, and my painting talent improved a bit since i've begun so for exemple the super heavy tanks are a bit ugly compared to the most recent vindicators.
I've choose cadia like camo and ice blue camo.

Still have to paint:
-1 other heavy company
-1 leviathan
-1 mole company  (those 3 will be ice blue)
-1 rough riders company
-1 tactical company
-1 gorgon company
-1 bike company
-1 assault company (this ones will have jungle camo)
-2x 3 marauders
-3 other thunderbolts
-2x3 lightning strikes (they'll be all grey like the 1st thundebolts)
-packs of things like ogryns, robots etc.

Impressive looking army, Napalm.    I know the feeling about painting skills improving. I'm resisting the urge to repaint the Rhinos and Land Raiders I painted 15 years ago.  :D

That looks like a proper IG army.  'Ooge!  That'll look mighty imposing on the table.

Do you ever use the Rocket Company though?

An army for the Emperoro's enemies to fear indeed!  It warms the cockles of this old IG Colonel's heart!

Lovely paint jobs and some great old school minis there.  Well done!!

Old style IG, great.

It depends. I play with netepic rules.

I like the shadowsword & the stormblades, who really destroy titans quickly.

Stormhammer are good to defend some points, 14 dices of point defense, that's impressive.

The baneblade are polyvalent.

I play with a friend who plays to win rather than playing for fun, and super heavies in his hands are real trouble.
In fact, you can defeat them by simple tactics like teleporting your chaos terminator behind them (in a building or something), something like 20cm or more to avoid the point defense, and shoot them (in general you can destroy a tank/turn with termis, more if you're lucky).
Forget close combat, except you have whole company of things to charge with.
