pg 11 Hatamoto replace "always wear Tactical Dreadnought Armor" with "are always fielded as Terminators"

This is just for consistency. It refers to Tac Dread Amor in the Terminators description but calls all units Terminators

pg 13 Iron Hands Allies section.

replace "Also, they have never forgiven the salamanders and Raven guard... assaulted the loyalist's flank"


with something legible (read it and you will see what I mean  :D ). This may need someone else to do as it is based on a part of the history I am not familiar with.

pg 13 Heavy Weapons Terminators

in description replace "Devastators" with "Terminators"

Thats pretty much it unless someone has something else especially a discrepancy in the stats section

Hi!

I would suggest you check stats with older versions or the original versions. Although we have changed a lot of stuff, some is the same and sometimes typos creep in.

If you think a stat is wrong, or just doesn't feel "right" let me know.

Hi!

I would substitute that text with:

"The Iron Hands have never forgiven the Salamders' and Raven Guards' chapters lack of support versus traitor legions on Istvaan V in the early days of the Horus Heresy. Therefore the Iron Hands will never ally with these two chapters".

On another note aren't the Iron Hands a traitor chapter? I thought they werent a "loyal" chapter.

Thoughts?

Iron Warriors are the Traitor Legion....Iron Hands are the loyalist mirror of them. ?You'd probably assume the Hands must be a later founding using the Warriors Primarch geneseed given the very large similarities, but apparently that is strictly coincidence (or fluff writers running out of ideas to poach :) ).  Interesting snippet is Fulgrim killed their Primarch during the Heresy IIRC.

Neat thing is you can pretty much build an Iron Warriors army and then use it as a loyalist Iron Hands army if you get bored ?:;):

Not a lack of support in general. But when the three first-wave legions (Salamanders, Raven Guard and Iron Hands) fell back to their landing site from their initial attack on Sons of Horus they were fired on by their supposed allies in the second wave of the attack. Ferrus Manus flew into a rage for this betrayal and led the Iron Hands on a sucidal attack on the Sons of Horus. Raven Guard and Salamanders did not follow and, the Iron Hands claim, if they had done so then they could have broken through and killed Horus and the Heresy would have ended after it had barely begun.

I noticed that someone wanted SM jet bikes added to the list.

ANy idea on Stats

say 5 Jetbikes Break point 3 Morale 2 points 200/250 with corresponding VPs?

with
35cm Move +3 CAF and 15cm 1 5+ 0TSM?

I have no idea what the standard weapon fit out is so give me your suggestions

Should the ones below be added? if so stats?

New units -

Land Raider Helios (the one with the whirlwind turret?)

Space Marine Landing Craft. (did I mention it earlier not sure!)

New unit -

SM Veteran normal bike.  Just to use the nice AT era biker with sword!    


There is an Attack Bike Veteran unit listed in SM list for the White Scars. Is this for a different veteran bike squad?

Just looked at the WHite Scars "Fist of Khan Company"

ignoring Command unit the other components add up to 1000 pts (adjusted down 50 pts for missing Rhinos)
6 Razorbacks = 400
6 Tac Marines = 200
6 Jag Khan Preds = 400

It costs 650 points  perhaps it should be 900/950 or more

or perhaps costing 6 Razorbacks at 400 is a bit too much compared to a 3 Predators at 200

Preds 1 more dice, better overall range, can divide fire, better armour save

Razorbacks: Transport 1, all weapons are in turret so better Fire Arc

Hi!

I believe that the best "fit" for this is to use the same stats as for marine bikes, except that it is a skimmer and it moves faster (the 35cm move is good).

Your cost point around 200 points sounds right.

Hi!

Does the helios have las-cannons like the standard one PLUS rockets?

If so add whirlwind weapon and another 100 points to the base cost of the standard unit.

If the whirlwind weapon substitutes the las-cannons, add just 50 points.

The veteran SM biker would have a +4 CAF, be an HQ unit and all other stats as per standard bike.

I would lower the razorback cost. I think you are correct that they are overpriced.
