Another, possibly better view.

I really think that with a little filler and a little filing that this is going to look pretty good.

Very nice - so how are the TS headcrests done?

A variety of ways.  Some are the SM2 era Chaos marines.  Some are the heads I removed from the Slaanesh beastriders, Tzeentch Disc Riders, or Khorne Jugger riders.  Some are simply trapezoidal pieces of card stock.

Slaanesh Daemon Prince with the old semi-minotaur style.  Mino torso, arms and head, steed legs, champion sword and wire for the whip.

Back to Tzeentch, the Imperator.  It's hard to tell from this pic due to the angle, but the discs are mounted on flying stands so the feet hover about a quarter inch above the surface.

The only drawback is that all the metal on the carapace is heavy.  I'm holding it up because the leg joints need pinned to be strong enough.

More detail on the carapace.

I had trouble with the lighting on this one as well due to the odd contrasts involved.  Another view that's not all that great but should give a better overall idea.

Whew!

Like I said, a lot of those are hardly what I would consider post-worthy.  However, as much as I've talked about some of the stuff I've done I figured I owed you the pics.  At the rate I'm getting this stuff done recently I decided that a little embarassment about the state of the models is less than the embarassment of not following through on promises to post pics.

Other armies later...

Great stuff. I love the Imperator, inspired use of various bits from all over the place!

Going to chaos-ify the weapons/body on that beast?

That's the plan.  I'm very much unhappy with the weaponry in particular.  I'm just not sure how I want to proceed.
