Was asked to post up a pic for Philipc68, so I thought I might as well put it here.



Just a quick way to do a Warp Palace, not like some of the masterpieces I've seen.

yep, looks good Bruce!

I was in spotlight today and found that beading supplies may be a great source of nubbins for Epic modelling. I got some elaborate conical beads to use for tower tops, and an oval cameo frame to use for the base of a warp palace.

I cast a simple base by pushing a cup into some clay, then adding some bumps, and the base impressions of 4 towers in a box pattern.  Once set, I rounded off the corners, and glued on the 4 towers.  In the middle I used one of the Weirboy towers off the Mega-Gargant mounted on a tall pole.  Added a few other mini towers, and the end of the Mega-Gargant deth ray to the spire of another.  Very quick job.
