Hehe. I wish. :p Nah, I think I'll wait another 5ish years before I'm ready for that sort of thing. Besides I've got a suspicion that said things actually limits the available time for painting...

Those flaks are grand, Warmasters. (Note - I now flatly refuse to believe there is just one of you producing all that stuff) :p

Awesome work as ever WMN  :p

Love those weapons on the Mk.III, did you use plasticard?, and if so, what thickness?.

Oh, and by the way how are things coming along on the Zeppelin?

Thanks. :)

For the armor I first built the shape of the plate from fairly thick plasticard (0.75-1mm roughly) and then added the plates with assembly lines in fairly thin card (I'm guessing 0.25-0.5 max) thinner card could certainly be used and might even look slightly more like the original but it is acceptably close IMO.

As for the Zeppelin: It is funy that you should mention it. I was cleaning up my work space when I got side tracked and actualy built a bit more on it today. Still need some essential parts but it is getting there.
The armor plating needs a few finishing touches and the main gunz are still to be added. The Gondola is slowly taking shaps but much remains to be done there. Also some sort of AA turret needs to be added to the upper part of the ship. I did some thinking on what could make suitable engines and it turns out DethKoptaz are perfect. I just removed the head of the pilot as the body is so uneven sculpted that with the right paint job nobody will notice.

Hehe. Nope. Except perhaps Kamikaze pilots. ...Which reminds me I really really want those wonderfull Grot Bommz from FW!

BTW I also had a look at some of the stuff I got from the Fanatic comp. The steam Gargant is nice although slightly smaller than I expected. Also I got a company of Siege Infantry. Jeez... Excuse me for being blunt but opening the box is a rather disapointing sight. If I'd actually paid money for that I'd felt robbed. Not exactly an overwhelming amount of metal for the money...

Finally a bit of inspiration struck. I've got an idea to convert ?some EW infantry into a rather specialized Guard company. That's all I'm gonna say for now though :blues:

Let me tell from experience: you are absolutely correct in your suspicions. Nowadays I build Zoids because when (not if) the ineviteble distractions happen I don't have to stress about paint and glue being left where our 1 year old can get 'em.  :blues:

I really like the look of that Zeppelin, so much so that I've just ordered one for myself.  :p

Sort of like that bloke from the Remington razor advert, ''I liked it so much, I bought the company'', well not quite, but you get the idea :confuse:

Here's a few reinforcements for my Soviet/IG force. I still need a good name for the army... hmmm.. Does "951st Emperorgradian" sound too goofy? Alternatively I was thinking "951st Kursk mechanized" Thoughts?

Also I'm going to add some letters in red. I thought it'd be cool to do these in the cyrillian alphabet. Hand painting them might be tricky: Does anyone know a on online retailer who makes these suitable for 6mm scale?
