i love it... its nice to see a older style of chaos, in sooo tempted to start chaos..... but the Imperialist in me is crying no! (and the bank statement :blush: )

Here's something new - for both Epic and AI - Chaos' equivalent to the Aquila, which no Black Brotherhood Tech would ever travel without.
Underside first - a 40K storm bolter from a chimera instead of engines; BFG chaos cruiser launch bays for wings; and a Thunderbrick hull. the colourful bit is plasticard. :p

Here she is again. I filed off the smaller turrets on the Thunderbrick bows, and left the turrets. The Aquila has a single bolter with front fire arc - the Carrion has two, each covering half the front fire arc - works out the same!
I replaced the top cannon with a bit off a 40K marine backpack - in this case, a searchlight in epic scale.
The engines (the stormbolter) stick out from below.

This model is closer to Epic scale than the FW fliers, and I'd guess the Aquila is larger, the Arvus close. Trouble is my bad marines don't appear to fit in there at all!

Oh Yeah !  Very nice kit-bashing !  We have found many uses for those SM2 T/Bricks !  Looks great !  I'll be buying one pack (2) of the Arvus Lighters, but in a recent deal with M/S, I got 3 M/M SST Dropships, which I use as Arvus Mk.IIs !  :laugh:  Look forward to seeing that bird painted, Van !  :)

Here's the first Chaos stand I'd painted with 3 more (slow, eh? But there's another 13 on the workbench).

Left to right:
Chaos Squats linked to the Black Brotherhood (c/a marines?)
Black Brotherhood Corrupt Tech/sorcerer with Deathguard and Berzerker
2 SMs (Black Brotherhood in power armour); Brotherhood Havoc; 2 Berzerkers - one of my old 'anything goes stands' repainted
Brotherhood SM, Slaanesh marine, 2 Thousand sons and another Deathguard, repainted old stand.
