Since Magnus is having to go to such great lengths to help us, I suggest we chip in and cover the cost of the sprues he got for himself.

His 4-ish sprues divided by 7 buyers is still a bargain.  Seems the fair thing to do.

Thanks Magnus!

Thanks for the thought, it is really appreciated, but there's no need, honest.

As for the trouble, I'm just trying to figure out an option which won't take something like 4 months to reach the recipient (can you say "surface to USA"?) while still being less than the cost of the sprues.... I hate shipping costs and I figure the same is valid for you, too :)

By the end of the week I should be able to give a more accurate estimate [= I should be able to ask at the post office].

(Good natured ribbing) Hey, you guys, don't you know that Magnus' sprue efforts are detracting from the send-Warmonger-parts-to-Otter effort? :p

But seriously folks, you're great! And I'm busy with some OoP Chaos "not-water marauders".

Haha! Don't worry, the shippings will all be done in one session (to keep my sanity) so it could be argued that the sprue efforts are actually helping the "send Otterman the promised models" effort, as they're forcing me to move my lazy ass ?:p

Whatever is easiest for you. You're the benefactor here.

So, what's going on here? Did Magnus get the stuff sent? Nosey bystanders want to know.

Nope. I'm a slacker ?:(

I cut 17 of the sprues in half, to package them and prepare their shipping. Alas, it seems it won't be of any help to use the two containers I was thinking about. Both the box and the bag become too shallow when you take into account the tickness of having two half-sprues in place of each sprue. Joy.

I've ordered bigger envelopes, padded with bubble air wrap to get a modicum of protection. With any luck, they'll be large enough to allow me to fit whole sprues into them... that should solve the thickness problem and it also means I can package everything without having to cut the remaining 20 sprues.

As soon as I have everything ready, I'll send a bunch of PMs to anyone involved (that includes you, Otterman, though for the Warmonger / Recovery Russ /maybe other? pieces) and I'll finalize the shipping details and send everything at once.

Sorry for the delay, but the difficulties coupled with a hectic work schedule and my lazy ass added up to geological times.

For all those asking for a second round: yes, I'll do it. After I close the first. Please understand you, too, will probably have to wait forever. I wouldn't want to discriminate in my slacking, after all.

Anyone who uses the phrase 'geological times' has nothing to apologize for.

No worries here.  I don't like to rush a man when he's doing me a favor.
