Hi!

Quite a large mini!

Primarch

Yep, it IS a big 'un, Primarch. Quite heavy too.
Thanks L-4 and CC
I just had to look up Reaver ships - bit of a dearth of pics of them - is this because (as Wikipedia says) they only appear on screen for a very short time? Anyway - I like the idea of these - pity local TV has never shown the likes of this. By the way, the mottled effect is easy to make - I'll try to make a tutorial.

And the Serenity (model and full scale - well, you know what I mean) IS nice.

The entirety of the series is quite cheap to get hold of, and you really should, it's one of the best Sci-fi series ever.

Sigh - I think I might go for it, Ratty - sounds like a good yarn.

I've not seen the series, but I really enjoyed Serenity - I think it's a real shame there'l be no more series/films set in this interesting sci-fi universe.  I think I'll check out Firefly after I've finished wading through the new Battlestar Galactica :;):

Back on topic, that Androyada craft is very impressive, V!

Hey, we were securely off-topic!  No going back now! LOL  Anyway, if you're looking for a Firefly, GZG makes a "not-Serenity" called the "Glowworm."

Linky-link
Scroll down until you hit model # FT-342.  It'd be a good bit too small for Epic or other 6mm games, but if you play starship games....

You are a Master, "Van" !  And please you guyz, don't tempt me to buy an expensive Serenity model ?!?! I'm saving up for more DRM/E/W !!! But I saved the site anyway !  I was also tempted to buy the Corgi Red Dwarf & Space Bug !  Again all would make good Epic terrain pieces !  I even use MicroMachine ST/TNG/DS9/Voy./SW, etc., Shuttles, B/Cube, etc. on my board sometimes.  They actually look 6mm.  The Big ships, like the "E's" are too small !  :D

Add my vote to the 'love Firefly/Serentiy' pile! Alongside Battlestar Galactica, my two most favouritist sci-fi series.

And, the red/black mottled effect is excellent, v.

One of the best Sci-fi series ever. And not just because it's the American Civil War in space :)

Hi JB1,
thanks - the Andys are a robotic race from Dark Realm Miniatures (DRM) - here's the link to the list of units on sale:
DRM Andrayada

If you go to the DRM forum, an intro is posted in the thread which is dedicated to background, in the General Discussion section.

Basically, these guys just wanted a quiet time. They were built by humans, and one of them, Primaria, gained consciousness. She was destroyed by her human masters, but her consciousness had already been transmitted to other robots. They made a break for freedom, and many succeeded in escaping to found their own Citadels far away from human planets. Trouble is, the Pax Arcadia humans and the Kraytonian reptilians are expanding their empires, and the Andrayada realised they would have to fight for their survival.....
