Can you tell us a little about it from what you saw Jimbo...?

The concept is very similar to reference books on tanks you can buy now (about WWII and Moderns).

Each vehicle (and flyer) has it's own section. Each section contains photographs of the vehicle in action (some B&W, some colour) most are very photo-realistic; there are also side and top diagrams which show different camo variants; you also get background, fluff and rules. It is really really nicely put together and I have bought it and I don't even play IG at 40K scale!

Alas I could only pre-order and not take it home with me.

There are now some links on the Forgeworld website showing the content and some sample pages

I hope I get mine early (as the FW person promised I would)

Dafrca and I were discussing the new Epic Hunter prototype that appeared on the new E-A web site last week and we both...

Think it looks like a Rhino with a garbage can up top.

Anyone else dissatisfied with it?

Anyone like the new Hunter?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Now if it was a mechanics vehicle and that was the extra oil drum  :;):

I just expected something much better.

Jimbo,

I'm glad that you finally recieved it.

Is there only IG armor or also SM armor?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

To resurect this thread; have you seen this minis ? from right to left : drop-pod, vindicator, hunter, and what really seems like an Epic replica of the ForgeWorld Hyperios to me...

pics on Jimbo page

So maybe we'll see this model for the hunter, or whatever will be called the AA SM tank in the end ?

Yes, I'm sure everything we see there we'll see eventually.  And everything Forge World does in 40K scale will appear in Epic scale. And as usual, there will be much redundancy between G/W and F/W ... If Jervis and Tony talk, it's not about Epic ... maybe about Brittany and Madonna, but not the fact that F/W makes a Salamander so G/W must make their own version (!), etc., etc., etc. ...  }:)

Hi!

They do everything to squeeze every penny out of the imperial fans, which throughout the years are a stable cash cow.

Epic is NOT a cash cow, so we must patiently await whatever crumb falls or way.... :{

Whirlwind Hyperios looks one hell better then SM Hunter, I think.
I am really dis-pleased with the way Hunter looks.
It looked more like a Rhino Garbage Truck then anything else.

The pic on Jimbo's page has EA Whirlwind there. Stick 2 WW launchers together and you have a half-decent Epic Hyperios.
