Well, in the same trade that I am getting all the tunnelers I posted in the trade forum, I will also receive 15 Silver Towers, so I may paint them up and use them as "counts as" preds and go ahead and field a Tzeentch-aligned force based on the BL list.
It's not the same, but actually goes back to the "old school" SM2-era version of TSons, so I can live with it.
Besides, it would be a blast to have 16 Towers (4 formations) floating across the board.

Neal,
You beat me out on that E-bay lot.
How much did you end up paying for them?
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
P.S. I really like your idea to use the Silver Towers as Predator proxies for a T-sons army. Cool thinking!
P.S.S. Was it you that was building a T-sons Imperator Titan?

$25 for the auction, but the shipping from Hong Kong... Yeesh!
Yes, I intend to build a Tzeentch Imperator and I have all the parts I think I will need (except a couple washers). It's the time now. It's fairly far back in the queue.
I was going to try to do it for the competition, but there are so many other things to do first...

Well, being an Epic newcomer, I was wondering if you fine folks had websites with images of older Epic stuff? I've been to De'Ayne's Gallery and Felix's Gaming Pages, Stuff of Legends doesn't seem to have an Epic section... any others?

Unless I missed something, De'Ayne's if full of Epic ? Chris help me out here ? Also check out ebay ... there is usually a lot of old stuff there, too.

Those 2 are the best that I can think of Jimbo.
If you want to see anything specific Hergrmir then ask- somebody here will have one!

De'Aynes is PURE Epic, I don't see how you couldn't find any Epic pictures!
List me what you want to find, and I will send you some links, if we have to required pics.
Cheers
Chris

Sorry for the poor writing on my part. I mean, I have been through De'Ayne's and Felix's, and spent a while going through everything. And there's great stuff, inspirational stuff, and lots of stuff. But I also happen to know there's more stuff. Specifically, I was looking to see the Eldar, Squat and Chaos ranges in their full glory.
And thanks for the SOL link, I'd been there, but the GW section didn't have the Space Marines/Epic link up; I'd never thought to check the catalogue.

Doomwings, Firelords, Slaanesh Daemon Engines, old CSMs. I'm looking into a lot of those for purchase, and just want to see them before they turn up on my doorstep, so I can anticipate assembling other than ranks upon innumerable ranks of Guardians. 78 and counting...

Quote (primarch @ 30 2004 April,23:37) | Hi!
Nice, and you may actually get these before GW send the metal ones....
Primarch | I got my metal SG ones this morning (and my Stormtroopers, Sentinles and Rough Riders yesterday morning ).
Both types are 3 piece models. There is the main hull part and left and right outer wings to glue on. They are cleverly done, with the weapon strut of the weapon on the outer wing part having to meet up with the underside wing on the main hull piece, ensuring the wings are at the correct angle.
They are really nice models. I'd say the Vulture is the best of the new epic minis to come out so far, even surpassing the Land Raider.
Of course, the FW ones will be bigger, as FW epic stuff is done almost exactly to scale, and they will have greater detail. I will definetly get some of the FW versions.
Don't let that stop you getting the SG ones though. They are great models which should not be missed.

Quote (Ork Dreadnought @ 01 2004 May,15:28) | Is it just me or is the scale off on the skimmer? | No I think they have got it just right.
In what way do you think the scale is off, too big or too small?
This is a picture of the 40K version which when you look at the Chimera in the background (which is not too far away), gives a good indication of size.

Compare that with the first image on http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/evalk.htm
