This is "Scene Shifter"... who along with "Piece Maker" and "Grot Buster" have now been languishing on my workbench for a better part of a year.

The original idea was to proxy them as Squat Mega-Cannons in a battery of three.

It looks like the Karl Morser vehicle with a long-barrelled gun. I know there's a long-barrel weapon version, but I think it's shorter than this.
Nice model, anyway.

Thanks guys. It's actually a pretty simple conversion to be honest.

Vanvlak is indeed correct when he says it looks like a Karl Morser chassis.

The chassis, gun cradle and loading ramp are from Dragon's superb little 1:144 scale Karl Morser kit. I picked mine up for around $6 each but I see Great Models has the Trumpeter kit on for a whopping $3 USD:

1:144 Karl Morser

The barrel is actually a 15mm Flames of War Italian field gun thats been trimmed and drilled to fit in the cradle.

The shell crane is from GHQ's 1:287 scale Karl Morser kit. GHQ actually has a "bits" service where you can order spares so I grabbed a bunch of cranes and what not the last time my local retailer placed an order.

And lastly all three guns in the battery have had assorted hatches added from the old Imperial E40K sprue.

Thats a really nice model heresiach, the details are fantastic- particularly the ammo hoist!  Great piece of conversion too as the parts seem to fit seamlessly  :)

Thought id also post another of my projects thats been languishing on the desktop for a while.  This ones meant to be amn inquisition mobile fortress, but I may use it as a capitol imperialis even though it is on the small size.  It does have the requisite big gun though  :p

By the way, very nice Gargant, Chroma - I recognize most of the Mega-G bits and some others, but what is the lower hull, around the lower cannon? Scratchbuilt? ?

Well, it's a bit of cut-up Mega-G bits with some plasticard plates and rivet strips to flesh it out.

I love kustomizing them things!  *laugh*

So... how many shots can that thing carry?  Two?  Three?

Gotta love the big gunz!

One's all you need with this baby  :p

It will have more turrets once my bits box gets a bit fatter..

EDIT:
Ahh, but by shots you mean shells.. Well that may be the fatal flaw in this plan.  Ach well, refer to my first point

It obviously has a portal to an extradimensional munitions storage so it can "carry" as many as needed. The added benefit is that the ammo storage can't blow up.  :p

Ye dark gods. ?Don't you boys know anything. ?It isn't size that matters, but how many you have. :D

It looks like I have to bring forwards my plans for my ordo reductor army and my Centurio Ordinatus.

Gah! I just remembered I promised to do some scanning... ?

P.S.
I say one tank gun beats a hundred assault rifles if the rifles are all the oposition has. ?:D

A tanker's gotta sleep sometime... that's when the rifleman will sneak up an put a gernade through a hatch. ?
