October is the third month of my Tale. I therefore add $38 to the $16 I rolled over from September, and go shopping. After debating the relative merits of taking it easy this month, I decide to go ahead and select an Artillery Company. Kudos to Dwarf Supreme for guessing correctly.

It's a sad IG army indeed that can not field even one battery of artillery. I daresay that artillery is the IG's signature unit... it sets the standard of raining steel upon the enemy that is the IG's calling card. I really feel remiss that I have to resort to primered models in order to field any, and I must redress this deficiency. Sadly, with last month's average of three hours of work per tank, this means that I have to commit to painting pretty much every night, and I won't start tonight. I have been ending my months early (8/26 to 9/6, 9/6 to 10/3), so I may just reverse the trend and extend my "month" into the second week of November. We'll see if painting the arty takes as long as the Russes and whether I can motivate myself to work every night without fail.

So, I subtract $40 from $54, and roll $14 over to the last month of my Tale. Try to guess what I'll buy in the last month with $52 to round out my force. Will it include Chimeras to turn my Infantry Company into a Supreme Commander? Will it be a Superheavy Company? What about a formation of Stormtroopers with Valkyrie transports?  I have already made my selection, so don't worry about exerting undo influence.

Let me think.... You already have a company of Shadowswords and at least one Baneblade. You already have some Chimeras. Therefore, I'm going to guess Stormtroopers with Valkyries.  :;):

I'm not saying you're right, and I'm not saying you're wrong, but I will point out that only the Baneblade is painted. ?My 'Sword company is only primered.
