I was after some statue bases for my City terrain board project and asked Glynn, the man behind the archietect trees to make me some up. Well I got them off him last week and have managed to take some pics. They can beused for my intended purpose of for displaying your favourite 40K figure.  So take a look, if you like them drop Glynn a line at fss.glynn@gmail.com

The base looks great!
How much does it cost?

I am planning to do something like this.  What was used as the base?

Email Glynn, he is the man to talk to. He is starting work on some epic scale road sections in the near future, so standby for pics of those in the future.

Cheers

Really cool! :D

I like the idea of using 40k miniatures for Epic Statues.  In fact, I intend to do the same! :;):

G'day chaps!  I'd like to thank Cal for posting here about my resin stuff.  And for the ideas he's given me.  Also thanks to those who've said good stuff about them.

I am planning to do a series of these with different textures/materials for the plinth and the surround.

@ KiLLerLooP - I reckon I can survive at A$7.50 per, or A$6.50 per for 10 or more.  If anyone wants to get dealers rates, email me @ fss.glynn@gmail.com  These prices are in Australian dollars, or as we call them, the South Pacific Peso, so youse foreign chappies are getting a real good deal.  Postage and handling is at cost - no extras there.

@ Bombot - If you mean what was it made from, they are made with polyurethane resin.  I figured polyester would be too brittle for this type of piece.

@ Cal - I'd better get off the board and get back into the sweatshop.  :)  You're a hard slavemaster!!

I'd be interested in nicely done Epic road sections.

The mock up road section is due for discussion on wed night, so keep looking and we will get some pics up of the initial sections once they are done. i have asked Glynn to put up some of his other work. The swamps came out great and Glynn has almost finished his one. I have two on the bench and two more to come.

Cheers

"The mock up road section is due for discussion on wed night"

Correction mate, the mock up road sections will be up for inspection on Wednesday night.  :)

I'll get pics of the swamp up as soon as I put the finishing touches to it early next week.  Only a couple more clumps of grass/weeds and then the greenish water.  Should look ok.  The next one will then be a toxic one.

Pretty nice.  These definitely tempt me to give up my long-standing tradition and... buy terrain.
