Amazing work! ?How long have you been working on the army? ?Are you planning on finishing the bases like the Tomb Complex?  I can't wait to see pics of your BatRep.

Objective #1. ?Another shot of the Tomb Complex. Can anyone guess what the main structure is made out of?

A blister pack shell and some computer keyboard keys?

Wow, a picture bonanza! :D  Very nice looking army, and some ingenious conversions/scratchbuilds.  Great stuff!

Great looking army!  Do I spy DRM Andryadas bulking out the androids?  They fit in really well with the other minis!

The Tomb Complex is indeed a blister pack shell that the Epic stuff comes in (or BFG, or Warmaster, etc...). ?The tops are these rubber stoppers that came with a piece of furniture that I never threw away. ?The green pillars are Necron 40K rods slipped into a green styrene tube then glued to a piece of a plastic sprue and super-glued. ?For whatever reason, the glue etches the rod and styrene on the inside and turns it white. ?The effect is this very bright color (albeit uneven).

Wraiths took forever (see their pic for materials).

Warriors are typical Chaos Androids with DRM Andrayadas as Necron Lords. ?Immortals are DRM Andrayadas as well. ?The thing that helped the most was just me spending a fortune collecting all those Androids. ?Once they were collected I knew the rest of the army would fall into place.

Very few things I did were 'ingenious'. ?The Spyders are Scarabs with Ork Dreadnought claws on one arm and Eldar Guardian Shurikens on the other. ? Destroyers are Scarabs cut down in front and on the sides and topped with a DRM regular infantry. ?Heavy destroyers are the same thing with DRM heavy infantry. ?I used Eldar Warp Spider torsos when I ran out of DRM stuff.

Pariahs didn't come out the way I wanted so you get no close-ups. ?:(

Monoliths, Pylons, and Obelisks are all designed by Pipboy (see his link on how to build) and went very well. :D I say no more. ? The only things I did different was on the resin molds I cut a section from the base out for the door (a small extra step that made a big difference) and I used a real crystal bead from the craft store. They aren't the perfect shape (too squat) but I like having the crystal instead of painting it. ?If you do this, remember that glue will etch it and ruin it, so apply sparingly and in the very center.

The Abbatoir was a phone wall mount that I looked at over a year ago and said, "This will be my first Necron piece". ?It took forever to get to it, but once I did it was finished in two weeks. ?A lot of plasticard, styrene, two 40k Necrons that I cut apart and meticulously glued back together as Sphinxes. ?

The Nightbringer is an old version from Warmaster of the Undead Command pack. ?I took the floating Lich, sliced him diagonally down his body (leaving is hand in place). ?Then I sliced one of the Scythe carrying horseriders diagonally and glued them together. ?Nothing fantastic done. ?This simple conversion really came out nice for a couple of reasons:
1. I think the 40k stuff is too big for the C'tan.
2. It was cheap.
3. It was fast.
4. The Warmaster scale (10mm) is ideal for the C'tan, who aren't that much bigger than the 6mm warriors.

They will all eventually be flocked like the Tomb Complex. ?:) ? I just didn't get around to it nor do I know when I will (work picking up again). ?

The next models for them are the Aeonic Orb and the Deceiver. ?The latter of the two I almost have finished. ?The Aeonic Orb I am currently working on and have nothing to say other than I have glued my fingers to it way too many times.

So, something old, something new, lots of borrowed and few things blue. ?If the army looks good it's because I was "standing on the shoulders of giants". ?Now that the knowledge is out there it isn't that horrible to build the Necron.

Ahh, yes ... I remember that W/M piece, perfect for the N/Bgr !!  As I said before, W/M has a lot of possibilities for Epic !   Good idea !   For extra credit, what W/M piece would make a good Deceiver ?!  :D
