Im very interested in that carryiing case, tell me more about it.

Well the Chessex company makes some very nice Figure Storage Boxes. The come with either one or two layers based on the count per box.

For these figures (15mm SciFi Troops) I buy the 80 Figure Case (#02850) and when it arrives there is still foam in the "Slots". I take the foam out and cut a small part off to put into each slot to create two figure slots per "real" Slot. Thus I transform the case from an 80 to a 160 figure case.

Dafcra,

What rules to you use with these troops?

Dirstside II/Startgrunt?

Just wondering

I bought them with Stargrunt in mind, but in the last few months I have been shifting my thinking toward Two Hour Wargames rule set. I bought a copy of their Chain Reaction 2.0 and was very impressed with them. For a game that is simple and quick the final outcomes feel realistic enough for me to live with. At this point they are finalizing their SciFi set called 5150 and I may try those out.

I also like the rule set from Force XXI called Combat Warrior.

But they are a little more complex and thus slower.

I have also thought about doing a slight morph of Dirtside and Stargrunt to allow larger battles but still keep the dice based rules.

But the bottom line is, I am going through a rules reevaluation for the moment. ?:p

Thanks Dafcra,

Give us that Power point presentation when your sub committe has it conclusions. ?Oh and don't forget the memo!

:D ?:p

I will, but to be honest I am still trying to explain to the boss why I need to use an Analyst for a few days to crunch the numbers.  :p
