I bought them with Stargrunt in mind, but in the last few months I have been shifting my thinking toward
Two Hour Wargames rule set. I bought a copy of their
Chain Reaction 2.0 and was very impressed with them. For a game that is simple and quick the final outcomes feel realistic enough for me to live with. At this point they are finalizing their SciFi set called
5150 and I may try those out.
I also like the rule set from
Force XXI called
Combat Warrior.
But they are a little more complex and thus slower.
I have also thought about doing a slight morph of Dirtside and Stargrunt to allow larger battles but still keep the dice based rules.
But the bottom line is, I am going through a rules reevaluation for the moment. ?
