I've just done a round of photography ready for my web update next week, so Here's the long promised pic of the unreleased version of the multi part epic marine, with extra bits.

Sculpted by Will Hayes, he did a number of sets of extras for the multi part marine. I know he made jump packs, heavy weapons and a bare head as well, but to my knowledge they never even saw limited casting.

Only a dozen or so of these expanded sprues were made & I was lucky to be given a few of that limited number by Will when he had one of his Desk clear-outs. They contain the normal 6-part marine, plus 3 extra bits:
Bolt Pistol
Chainsword
"Beaky" helmet.
Unfortunately I dont have any sprues which still have the bolt pistol on them, and can't remember which conversions I've used them on to show you!

I hope this is of some interest however - you almost certainly wont see them anywhere else  :;):

Oh, and I'd forgotten when I first posted, but the legs are a different design on this sprue too - larger shin armour & no knee pads!

So it's not just a beaky head, it's a proper Rogue Trader-style beaky Marine. :D

Coolness.

Although I am sure there are those who would love these. I am glad not to have to try to deal with these small of parts.  :;):

I didn't know there was an 8 part Marine. I have the 6 part one. I'm not looking forward to assembling them (I have five).  Sometimes I have the dexterity of a hippo. :p

I wouldn't want to make one.  I had enough trouble with the 8mm spines on my 40k Trygon.  Fiddle 2mm or less parts are beyound my ability.

I wish you hadnt shown me that! Now I want a load of these Mk6 Marines. Does it have the left shoulder pad with the rivets or the best-looking-missile-launcher-Marines-ever-had?

Ah that's a point, it's not a true beakie unless it has a studded shoulderpad!

nope, no shoulder (or leg) studs I'm afraid - easy enough to paint on though ;)
