The Davion force pulls back into the town to deal and attamept to deal with the WOB unit lose in the town. Unfortaulete the town takes most the the damage in this exchange.

The Battlemaster and the Templar use the building to block their rear aspect. Gallant defenders huh. 
The Griffin deciding not totake on three assualt mechs jumps across the river.

The slug fest between the Jagermech and the Thugs continue. ?The massive firepower being exchanged is impressive as entire blocks are leveled by the missed shots.

But the Thug Pilot was not going down wihtout a fight and his first strikes proves deadly.
A lone PPC shot penetrates the cockpit of the Awesome killing the pilot.
Suddenly the Davion defenders are not to confident.

The alleys and streets of the town create a knife fight enviromnet where the slightest advantage in initiative proves deadly.
The Davion mechs try to minimize their rear quatres having taken heavy damage there from the fighting with the lighter WOB units.
While the Jagermech was heavily damaged it still proved too much for the Thug that decided to atatck it. A series of leg hi's immobilze the Thug in place.

The Griffin in an attempt to aid his fellow convert moves behind one of the defenders.
The Battlemaster demostrates what a mistake this was, The Griffin fell at his feet with a neat whole burned into the back of the cockpit.

The WOB O-bakemono having expended it's LRM amunition earlier in the battle attampts to finish the damaged Jagermech.

The last Thug is taken down. The devasted warmachine falls in the river. The Davion pilots to borrow to check if the pilot lived.

While the town is held by the defenders, it is not a complete victory for the Davion forces. The cripped Ostscout having fled the fighting in the town uses it's remaining laser to burn a whole inot the warehose wall.
WOB infantry units move in during the heavy fighting in the town and several transport vehilces were seen leaving the area before the defenders could respond.
perhaps this was the WOBBIE mission all along, we may never know...
Well thats all folks
The battle went very well with everyone having fun. While the Davions won a major victory they lost one mech and all the others had taken a major beating. In the begining the were really losing the long range fire fight to the WOBies but wisely decided to fall back before it was too late.
The Ostscout and the O-bakemono survive to report to their superiors.
Perhaps what they captured in the warehouse may allow them to survive their superiors anger.
