With G/W Fluff is like Orwellian "New Speak" ... it's always in flux !  Today's "history", is tomorrow's "myth" or "Rumor" !  :D  Or even blasphamy !  =][= ... :;):

Hi Guys,

I glance at the mainstream news... on occasion.

I've found the blogosphere and Internet news groups to be far more reliable than the "Hezbollah view" I get from CNN, AFP, AP, Reuters and the rest of that gang.

I got so fed up at the crap reporting about the Israel-Hezbollah War that I listed good news sites on my blog.

I was literally bombarded by queries from friends asking about news from the Middle East so I wanted to make it available to them.

I talked to a Sunni who just got back(had to leave!) from Lebanon ... His cousin's house was level by an Airstrike and cousin killed ... and he swears he saw US Tanks and US Troops in his village! (?!?!???) ... Oh well ... IDF does not use US M1s or M60s (any more, IIRC ?), they do use those US M109 SP 155mm FA. ? The news shows them everyday ! ?So ... who knows ! ? ? I'm blaming Horus !!!  Or the Klingons !!!

Thats pretty much the exact reason why cops will tell you eye witness testimony is pretty useless in reality.

People see what they want to see if they even see it in the first place.

Back to the horus heresy, i remember in the Horus heresy vision of darkness, sang fought a bloodthrister that killed 500 blood angels and also in same book it told how the Emperor and about a thousand Custodian Guard came to rescue Horus, Rogal, Mortarion and their legions in the Battle of Gyroes-Thravian where they killed over a hundred thousands greenskins and the warlord Gharkhul breaking the Waaagh losing only 3 Custodians.

Aye I've always heard it as Sanguinius fought a Bloodthirster and broke its back over his knee to finish the fight.

Primarchs were about 10-12 feet tall by the way, so still smaller than a (moderately sized) bloodthirster, but not so small that they're completely dwarfed.

Sorry guys, as you know I've collected (10+) Epic Armies since '90 ... but the fluff IMO ... is generally weak, convoluted, as much fantasy as Sci-fi, etc. ... and sometimes it's ?down right silly ! ? ?Guess that's why it's sometimes called "cybergothic sci-fi" ! ?But any way, I'm more of a Slammers fan (see my Av !) and even like Dirtside's fluff ... but it has not stopped me from buying all I can ! ?:D
