That is outstanding!

So, have you done any of those dinosaurs you mentioned?

I've ALWAYS loved Dinos!

Great electropriest! All it needs is a backpack with metal arms to be a tech priest!

Consectari - in a word: no.  The furthest I've got is a slightly bulked-out armature for a 30mm ceratosaur.  I'm too scared of messing up the details, at that scale.
Seeing as 6mm seems to be easier for me, I've been bitten by that annoying 'ambitious dream' bug again.  This time it's for a range of dinosaurian/avian creatures that could be used as proxies of resin minis...

Dobbsy - er... purple monkey dishwasher. :p

Ta again to everyone. :)

Can we get an update Vernis on the progress, a finished painted priest. Have you made a mold and cast any? You know what the next question is going to be, I think it would look cool standing between two Pretorian Combat Servitors.

Cheers
CAL

Woah.  This is old. :p

Er... not much progress on it since I took off, unfortunately.  But I'm halfway through the scenic base I'm going to stick him on, along with a few skitari.

I don't know if he's suitable for casting - too many planes and bits and things - but I have thoughts of sculpting another one for that purpose (though d'you think he's generic enough to be commercially cast?).  After the powered armour barbarians and battle-cyborgs, maybe.  Too bad I've run into a mental block with the former.

I've got a bit more done on the base - the five guys are going to be stalking to the edge of a section of tilted, ruined road; but I'm taking baby steps to make sure I end up with decent flat, tilted sections; decent-looking cracks and rubble; and also that I align or cover the bases of the individual pieces with the road surface.

I may be a little overambitious.

In the meantime: I've been thinking about how to base the rest of the Skitari cohort, but in my eyes sand (the sand I have, anyway) threatens to overwhelm 6mm infantry.  But thanks to a renewed interest in Coat d'arms paint (recently taken over by Black Hat) I've noticed the textured brushscape range.  Hopefully that'll be the solution.
