Hi all, and welcome to the new forum. EpiComms is dead, long live EpiComms!
These boards are now titled Tactical Command, with the three sections broken down as before.
I must sincerely apologise for the trouble and delay in getting all of this put back together. There have been more problems than I thought possible, and while we are almost there, there are still a few things to correct and sort out.
Yes, I know that the colours here are different. Some of you like them, some dont. I will be changing the colours here in time, but this will need to wait until I have the colour scheme sorted out for the new site, which these boards will now form the core of.
Aside from the colours here, please use this thread to inform me of any troubles, problems or differences here. Anything that does not work, works different or you would just like changed, please post here. Board structure will be discussed in an alternative thread.

EDIT: OK, one of the first thing to sort out is the background colour to make the posts here actually readable!

Hey Cybershadow,
great to see tactical command!
I noticed that pictures which are directly uploaded to the site are gone.
Are you gonna restore them or shoul I/we upload them again. (Gothicomp as an example).

Ha, yeah, I noticed that users can add their personal member title. 
So, as an example I entered the one I have whenever possibel.

Looks good, though the medium grey text on light grey background is a bit hard to read...

Yeah, I agree, the background is good, the colour of the text should change into black or dark blue/grey.

Thanks guys.
Some of the features may not be around for long, as I decide to keep them or turn them off. An example is the post colour. This was available in the previous boards, but I turned it off to stop the place looking (even more like) a clown convention.
Speaking of post colour. My current plan is simply to darken the background to make things easier to read. Essentially, I have to decide whether to go light text on dark, or dark text on light - and this decision will carry over to the entire site as it develops. I feel that light text on a dark background looks better, is more flexible and fits the content better.
As for the pictures, I just noticed this too. I will attempt to dig them out (I did keep the various folders safe for this kind of issue) and see if just uploading the folder in one go re-establishesall of the links automatically.
If this does not work, then I will let you know and you guys can either upload them yourselves or PM me and I will dig out the picture and put it back in the post.

How is that for a post background colour? Pretty? No. Readable? Yes.

Your signature is unreadable Cybershadow. The colour isn't bad tough. But I personally like the black text on light background best (when you post).
Is there an option to have more posts on 1 page. 10 is a bit low or am I wrong on this one? Can be...
And like Evil and Chaos says a mention about them being back isn't bad. Also, the link (epicomms button) at www.epic40k.co.uk needs to be changed.
