We all know that Epic is really how the battles of the 40k universe occur and Medusa V would be no different. I would think that this would be an excellent opportunity for Epic Players world wide to show that we exist. I am hopeful that there will be a place for us to make our mark.
In order to encourage this I would suggest that any event held during the campaign use each game as a game for Medusa V. Also it may be a good idea to try and organize some other gaming opportunities, possibly at hobby centers.
I would also argue for those Epic players in metropolitan areas come up with a day each month to meet at either a battle bunker if there is one or local GW store. Show GW that we want this game off life support and back as a primary over LotR.
But back to Medusa V. Depending on how today goes I may right a campaign or sceniroes for the campaign (tree campaign). I think we as the Epic community need to begin figuring out how to resurrect the best way to play battles in M41.
Sorry all over on this one.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Medusa V?

Medusa V is the GW 40k summer campaign this year, similiar to Third War of Armeggedon many years ago.
The world is on the edge of a warp storm that is expanding.
- The Imperium is trying to get as much out of it as it can before the storm hits and then evacuate as many people as possible. ? - Chaos wants the world and its population to set up a demon world. - Orks are collecting machinery to rebuild their hulk and press on. - Tau are studying the Warp storm. - Necrons are trying to make it much like Cadia with pylons. - Tyranids are invading and want the biomass before the storm hits. ? - The Eldar are trying to close a webway portal before the storm hits to deny Chaos access to the webway.
Having looked at the site we will need to get creative in how we report our results I think.

I'm actually rather happy with it given that they specify that Epic and BFG will both be legal parts of the campaign stuff. Which is always positive in my book! They did this for the Eye of Terror campaign too, dunno how many people played them though. I'll probably register for the IG (Though I don't truthfully play IG. I play AMTL. But hey, they've got basically the same goals!).

Sounds good. I wonder if the GW retail-drones would allow an Epic game to played in the store, though?

I would hope so, they should be familiar with their own product range.
I am considering trying to organize a meet and play day, while I am on leave in N. Va. All the Epic players in the DC/Baltimore area meet at the Glen Burnie Battle Bunker for a day of Epic Games just for fun, not a tournie but to fight for the fate of Medusa V.

Most of the Drones are expected to only know the Core GW products, and in some cases I have to explain what Epic is to the Drone.

Living out in Columbia relatively near by... When would you be doing this though? I'd definitely try to show up.
As to playing Epic in the store: They SELL Epic there. They have little Epic packs (mostly stuff like Gargants and Titans) on the walls there. At least they did the last time I was there. Even some infantry packs too. So I kinda doubt they'd seriously complain about us playing with a product they currently stock.

I have written a Campaign for the Summer Campaign - it is meant for Imperial forces vs. any other force. Tell me what you think and how it goes for anyone who is able to play through it.
