Well, I was organizing the auction I bought into the figures I want for each ?Squad and Platoon?. I was a little surprised at my reaction to breaking up the ?Old Citadel Sets?.

For example they have a platoon as 20 men, but I like the squads of 8. When I bagged them that way, I felt odd like I was doing something wrong. Odd. Odd and Funny too.   :o0   :80:

I mean they are mine, right? I should be able to mix and match any way I want, right?  ???

I must be crazy or something. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?

Yes I have.

I painted up a stack of tanks for DS2 in 3s, which was how I had my mind on a triangle organisational structure.

Then on re-reading the rules, I recognised that this would be be bad from a rules perspective and went to 4.

It felt....wrong.  And I went back to 3s

weird eh?

You could always split your 20 man platoon, arranged into 2 squads of 8 plus a Heavy Weapon team of 2 and 2 Command figs for 20 men total. neat eh? :;):

My dilemma cam with Warmaster demons - originally bought for Epic. Do I paint them and mount them in single rows (Epic) or double (WM)? Or do a convertible? EPic width bases which lock together (magnets?) for a WM size base...???

Go with the two for one magnetic base.

Hi!

This happens to me when I tinker or make rules. I always seem to be making squads of 3, 5 or 10, you know the same number as most epic detachments.... :;):

Hi!

Although as I come up with units lists for the DRM line in my Heresy rules, I use the number that come in blisters to make it easier for everyone. :;):
