The worst part of the win is that I had been inching toward more painted then unpainted troops. Now it is back to a question of what is more.  :O

Aye- that is why my goal is not to get all of my figures painted but just get down to painting one race/army/fleet for each gaming system that I play.

That way painting becomes more enjoyable rather than a chore. And if they release a particularly nice new figure for 1 of your other armies/fleets then not too much trouble to fit in to paint slot.

I feel I am some way from that ideal.

Cheers

James

Yep, over time they will integrate into my Monthly Special Projects. This month is the vehicles that will get primered. But Troops are on the horizon as well.  :;):

This is quite a shock. You guys will not believe me.

I received an email from the seller on Friday telling me the minis are being shipped and our agreement was it would go ground. I then get an email from the Canadian Post Office same day saying a package has shipped to me. So Friday the 26th package sent ground to the US.

Today the box arrived. You read it right. One Business Day later. The email from the post office said 6-12 working days. Friday was a working day. Saturday was a working day for the US Post Office. Sunday is not a working day. Monday was a holiday for the US. So for all intent, I received next day air.

I am still in shock. :O

Happy mind you, but in shock. :D

Yes, the USPS and the Canadians too. Wow, what a combo on this package. Someone or someones had to have been moving.  :8:

I might be wrong, but I believe USPS distribution centers do have some employees working on Sundays. It's not a full staff, but I'm pretty sure some do work, especially during Christmas. I know a mail truck drove past my house last Sunday.

In any case, it's always nice to receive a package sooner than you expect.
