Hi Guys,

I wouldn't say the "exact" same army, but I do have multiple armies from just about every force... generally I base and paint the armies as different ones to have variety.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

You wouldn't happen to have (or be willing to take and post) a picture of three "duplicate" armies?  I'd love to be able to show her that the answer is "yes, kinda, sometimes".

You just have to look up some of the goup shots of our collections and show her.  :p

If that does not have her thinking we are nuts, nothing will.

If I go ahead with my plan to make Skitarii (for an AMTL army) from the Valhallan Guardsmen minis, and take heed of the voices in my head telling me to also convert an army of Epic Vostroyans (big hats!) from them, does that count? :;):

For once I'm in the "less crazy" category. Well, actually, make that lazier as it is far too much trouble to paint, for example, an IG regiment for each terrain type.

Epic Vostroyans??

I thonk a purging with fire is called for. And I don't mean metaphorically!!

I can't beleive that GW are still making figures to match up with John Blanche's artwork. I have some of every Imperial Guard unit released by GW (with the exception of new plastic Cadians but that is simply because have n't bought any yet but fully intend to at some point).

But the 40k scale Vostroyans do absolutely nothing for me whatsoever....
They are an abomination that needs to be eradicated from the universe!!

Cheers

James

Vostroyans... *shudder*

Informal poll:

Should the Vostroyans be accompanied by:

1) the Russian Dance from the Nutcracker ballet, or

2) the "oh-WEE-oh" chant of the wicked witch's flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz?
