This one's likely to sound kindof silly I'm sure... But has anyone else ever gotten the feeling that the current hit-distribution rules allow for players to kinda cheese with TK hits? For instance: I have a Warlord Titan which fires into a squad of Baneblades. Four hits off my TLDs, plus the Volcano Cannon. My enemy divides it up to have two of my TLDs and the Volcano Cannon into a single model, then the other two into the other model. This virtually guarantees me destroying at least one Baneblade (Yay!) but also can result in a real decrease in potential maximum damage due to over-kill on that first Baneblade (Boo!). I was thinking, what if TK hits counted as a number of 'hits' equal to their maximum damage, when dividing up how many hits a single War Engine has absorbed? So in the above description, he'd be forced to put the Volcano Cannon on one Baneblade, three TLDs on another, and the fourth TLD on the last. I don't know if this would be better, worse, or indifferent. But I thought I might cast the idea out there for comments.

Well,I suggest you downloading the experimental rules, which are IMHO very nice. Quoting from them :

If a Titan Killer weapon is fired at a formation that includes both war engines and other types of units then the defender *must* allocate all the Titan Killer weapon hits to war engine targets. Roll for damage immediately after allocating the hit. The War Engine counts as having been allocated a number of hits equal to the damage rolled.

Thanks much for clearing that one up. I thought I had seen rules amounting to that somewhere, but couldn't seem to find them.  :80:

Other question is: When firing all your weapons at a single-model unit, who determines which order the weapons hit in? For instance, I fire on a Great Gargant with a Warlord. Hit five times with the TLDs, twice with the GMB, and with the Volcano Cannon. Obviously I want the Cannon to hit last (it goes through reinforced armor like a chainsaw through half-melted butter, after all), and my enemy wants it to hit first, so it just costs him shields. I THINK the enemy gets to choose which order the hits actually arrive in, but I'm not sure. I'm not positive how this reflects with the 'Enemy gets to divide up hits' rule.

As Thurse noted, that's exactly the method suggested in the experimental rules.
