Well the tournament was today!
I got a 1st in Kata, 2nd in Sparring....and a broken nose! 
My daughter Meaghan won 1st in Sparring too!

I was seeing double for awhile.... 
Its swollen and a bit numb still. Having a CT csna later this weke to see how bad it is.
Cest La Karate - its a contact sport eh?

I toyed with tyhe idea of starting Karate traininng. So much for that idea. I think I'll settle for the traditional Finnish way of self-defense (i.e. a knife) as it seems to be far safer...
