Do you mean Genestealer Cult forces? If you do, then my GS work in progress is here:

http://www.epic40k.co.uk/rules/epic/gscult01.html

I have somealterations planned for it, but feel free to let me know what you think.

If you dont meann Genestealers... then you may need to clarify.

Thats a nice list CyberShadow.

The only thing I'd gripe about is the amount of armour available to the Cult. I imagine a Cult army to consist mostly of hordes, maybe backed up by some average AFVs.
Eg; limit their MBTs to just the Support Tank and Thunderer. Also, cut down the flak choices to just one and get rid og the Medusa.

Another option is to do a steel legion force as a proxy (so say ogryns count as hybrids, rough riders as stealer etc).

I was thinking maybe the Siege list would work too. Just without the arty? Siegfrieds as Limos and halftracks? RRiders as Genestealers.

The current Genestealer list will be split into three seperate versions, representing uprisings on three planets within the same system.

The first will be a 'counts as' list - and Siegemasters is an option that I had not considered (I was looking at the Swordwind list, as single Aspect Troops could cover a variety of different troop types).

The second will be a Genestealer infiltration of the local Imperial Guard regiment, using IG stats and vehicles with Genestealer additional elements.

The third will be a Genestealer infestation of the system PDF force, which is where the additional units such as buggies and other new stuff will be.

This will give the player three options for the list and should make it very interesting.

As for the amount of armour, all core formations are infantry ones, and the armour formations depend on these. I agree that the list should be a horde force.

Thanks, and any comments would be great.

Yep, same sort of idea. No need to srop rt though, they do after all subvert a force. Fortifications might have to go, these are after all a froothing bunch of loons :)

Hi again. I have found that this thread has re-ignited the flame for the GS Cult. So, a word about the future of the list. The final product will consist of three lists... or books (well, four really, but that is another story).

As already mentioned, there will be a 'counts as' list, an IG list (with standard IG formations augmented by Genestealer additional formations) and a PDF list with all the cool new toys. The current list represents an early stage of the PDF list.

I will now be working on the lists, starting with the background/counts as list.

blackrabbit, let me know what list you are most interested in, and I will let you know if I have any changes in mind for it so that your project to build a force does run into changes as soon as you put it together.

For example, I am considering changing the structure of the list so that brood brother cells have 12 infantry units, and brood support cells and Genestealer cells each have 8 units.

I like this idea of variant lists based on the GS Cult, allows for some great ideas and variety!

Looks like i'll be the chap that gets to fight BR33's Cult and try to repulse them and their purple ways with my mighty Siegers!!!:D
