OK, CC Here is some shots of the different vehicles next to one another.

First is the DLD APC next to the GZG APC, along with an 8 man squad.

Note the space etc of the main body.

Here is another one.

Now think about what I said in the other thread about not locking into what the company said they were, but what you want them to be........

Now here is that same GZG APC next to a DLD two man Recon/Anti-tank vehicle and the Old Crow Hammer's Combat Car.

Looks more in scale right?

Another of the three smaller vehicles together.

When you think of the APC as a tankette and then go back ad look at the DLD APC next to the squad, they both look fine for their role.

I would not use the GZG tankette as an APC.

"Ok that is great" I hear you say, "but what about the tanks?"

Well, I spent some time tonight and put together a DLD MBT. So here is a shot with the DLD MBT, GZG MBT, and the Old Crow Hammer's tank.

Left to Right: Old Crow, DLD, GZG

If you look close, the main size differance in the GZG to DLD is the treads on the DLD. Body and gun wise they are very close, but the DLD has extra wide tread units.

But the overall sizes are not that different other then the width (caused by the wide tracks).

Hey Dafcra,

Here I am again. ?The pictures are great.

I guess the final analysis is that all the vehciles are in scale, but may not be used in what the manufacturer intended them to be. ?

For example the GZG APC is definitely ?a tankette/scout type vehicle. ?No way eight guys are fitting into that think, except maybe if they were clowns. ?

The GZG tank has a good gun, it just has a smaller silhouette than the other tanks. Similar to the Cold war Soviet Tanks with their smaller turrets and lower silhouette.

So Thanks Dafcra.

I still waiting for the grav stuff. ?I want a fully Grav operated Corps. ?I always wanted to do grav for both sides.

I just need two distint styles of vehicles for my grav vehicles, one syle for each side. ?The GZG upcoming grav vehciles have a good look and I can match it against the Old crow stuff.

I would love to see when the John Bear Grav vehicles be released soon.

It's a shame that reaper decided to make the cav minis in a scale that was in between two scales I do play 6mm and 15mm. ?Why oh why?

I would love to see this in 15mm scale. ?

I agree 100%. I have always cursed what ever group made the choice to do the CAV in 10mm and the vehicles in about 8mm. I too would like to have seen some of their stuff in 15mm.

I wish I could have these:

Any and or all of these would be in my collection right now if they were close in scale.

But such is the way of the world.

Ooo! If the last tank isn't a perfect Squat superheavy tank, nothing is!!    would of course need some de-streamlining but the basic shape is perfect: low center of gravity with excellent rough terrain handling characteristics.
