Hi Jimbo,
Quote (Jimbo @ 02 April 2006 (17:08)) | All the best Maksim, hope you didn't mind my little joke! Hope all goes well for you mate. As for the wireless thingy, you probably have two routers on your network. You need to configure the wireless router as a wireless access point, in other words configured to NOT distribute IP addresses. |
Thanks!
I'm all set now. I have DSL / wireless now successfully functioning.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Quote (vanvlak @ 07 April 2006 (07:26)) | Quote (Dwarf Supreme @ 06 April 2006 (16:58)) | I took the Geek test from Innergeek. My result: 19.52663% - Geek. According to this test I'm just a run-of-the-mill geek.
I also took the MSN geek test, scored 29% - "Stuck in the Last Century". I noticed this test concentrated more on current technology than other realms of geekdom. |
19.52663% - Geek is the very same result I got - identical to 5 decimal places? Either we happened to tick the exact same number of boxes, or it's based on some generalization. And for saing that, I bet they'd increase my score... ? | You should get bonus points for noticing that our scores were exact down to 5 decimal places. I'm sure we checked the exact same number of boxes.

32.54438% - Total Geek
I think my lack of computer programming let me down. And the fact that test was too baised towards Star Trek rather than Star Wars/Babylon 5/Xmen/Spiderman/LOTR..... Cheers

Hi Guys,
I just updated my blog with a report on the gaming convention I attended this past weekend.
I got to play in a number of miniatures games including:
- DBA Tournament - Monster Island - Zombietown Massacre (ZTM) - Flames of War - Vietnam Variant: "Pile on, A Search & Destroy Mission!"

the first 2-3 weeks are hard, then its routine. Keep at it. Plus some of the ladies there make for pleasant scenery!
I started light karate training again today as my broken rib is healing relatively well. OK for now, we'll see...
