The AAA Truck is Scotia GEV, ....

That I recognized it, but could not place my finger on it.  :8:

Thanks both for sharing and for helping me clear that up!

Ok whats hull with all the sandbags - is that a epic40k era model? I don't recognise it? Nice collection there, all the conversions are great. :D

Yep, that's an E40K version.  Most AFVs of the E40K era had 3-5 hulls, tracks, turrets ... I collected one or more of each !   Back in the day, when you could order bitz !  :;):  And thanks, "M" !

I remember trading back and forth because I liked one hull and my friend liked another so we would trade from the packs.  :D

Another way that GW has forgotten the fun they used to give.  :/

Too bad.

Yes epic 40k definitely marked a high point for epic miniature quality. I can sympathise with the decision to get rid of all the variants though, and I do prefer having less 'assembly required'. It means more time for painting and gaming, and less glue fumes  :)

Yes, I believe they thought by making these wonderfully detailed models, (after some of the SM2 models that looked unfinished (!), and I needed to add bitz !?), that might help sales ? ? Don't know if it did, but it took a lot more work to complete them ! And I'm sure added to their inventory control ... ?But all in all they are nice pieces and we see some of them back with E:A ! ? ? ? ? :D

Hi!

I beleive the large variety of epic 40k era minis was based on SM era sales. Of course with the games flop sales dried up and they were stuck with and overbloated inventory.

Either way, it was nice having choices without me having to "make" the vehicles look different.

Hi!

Indeed. Unfortunately I doubt we'll ever see this again for epic...  :(
