OK...it has become evident that "Super-Macro" means proper lighting, a tripod and being more professional with your settings and setup to get the result you want.  Some more testing is obviously needed to get the images that this camera can produce

Anyhow, I have taken some new happy snaps of my newly completed Prussian winged Digs and posted them to my VSF blog:

Drop by and leave a comment! :)

Right then.

Highly unsatisfied with being unable to pull down some more detailed shots?I had a bit more pf a play.

I present to you "Super-Macro" - a new method of finding your old brush hairs on your newly painted models! ?
Now imagine how good it will be with proper lighting!

"But what the hell IS that?" I hear you ask...

Its the port fwd sponson gun of the 99% complete Tsar's Terror Tower "Peter the Great"

(why 99% ? because I havent yet stuck the Rudssian Imperial Crest on the front!)

Big thanks again to bans for the great Levi bash which I have VSF-ified!

with hissing steam and clattering iron,
Tas

Suggested by some anonymous, mad super-genius for hire!

Yes - macro brings out all one's modelling and painting flaws like never before... ???

Seems I was too late. Sorry.

I have found that sometimes the "on the table in mass" shots are better anyway.  :;):

Thanks guys!  Especially to V for the offline construction suggestions along the way, including the torpedo nets

If there is anything in particular to want to see in more detail let me know Bans.  I'll try some more macro shots under natural light this arvo.

I have found that sometimes the "on the table in mass" shots are better anyway.

I think a combination of both army wide and details pics are good.  Now I have boith options available

Just glad I am a Yank.

Right then, one Russkies v Yanks scenario fighting over Alaska coming up!

:D
