Aftrer my initial reservations regards E:A rules, I have ordered a full copy of the rulebook. I was just wondering what other rules I should print out to have the full amount of information needed?
I'm presuming that the rulebook contains the following -
Epic1.pdf -> Epic6.pdf
from the specialist game site.
Do I need print outs of these though -
swordwindbaranwar.pdf swordwindforces2.pdf swordwindgaming.pdf whitescares.pdf speedfreaks.pdf
Or are they just additional optional rules? What do I need to have the core armies of Ork, Marine, Guard, Eldar and Chaos?
Thanks

Hi!
Swordwind is a separate book, so you'll need those extra files.

Primarch | Thanks Primarch.
Have GW published a seperate book for Swordwind? Or is it only available as downloads?

SG have, but I believe it is already scarce - check the online stores around the world.

Quote (Hena @ 09 April 2006 (18:18)) | Well it depends. The main armies marines, imperial guard and orcs are covered in the main epic 5 and 6. The rules are in epic 1 - 4.
The swordwind is a seperate book containing eldar, feral orcs and siegemasters. Then the white scars is a separate marine list (one marine chapter) and speed freaks are a seperate orc list.
For chaos the latest ones are in vault ('black legion' and 'the lost and the damned'). They are still experimental, but almost finished. | Have GW not developed full Chaos army lists as yet?
Actually thinking about it I read some forum entries that said precisely that!
Obviously got their minds else where at the moment....

Only the armies in the core book and Swordwind have been defined in print (ie on paper) - which for me is a more defining format, although there are amendments even for these armies. All the rest are only available as pdfs from the SG site, created by the army champions. Oh, and if I'm not making a mess, Speed Freeks were published in print on WD.

Enderel:
Core rules - contains all 6 pdfs, plus some additional stuff that is not necessary to play the game (modeling and "hobby" stuff).
Swordwind - same deal. Contains the mechanics from the pdfs on the site, plus other sections.
Chaos - The chaos lists are done in all but name. The Black Legion and Lost and Damned army lists have been submitted to Jervis and Andy for final review and editorial/formatting work but are essentially done.
Assuming the last word on the release schedule is accurate (a big assumption as it is constantly changing), the August SG release will include a re-release of at least a large portion of the chaos minis.

Oh, I missed it in my first post, but Speed Freeks and White Scars are not in either book and were originally Fanatic articles, so now pdf-only.
