Hi Guys,
I have been continually updating my Blog including a number of posts about games and even jokes.
http://6mm-minis.blogspot.com/
One of the latest games I've taken an interest in is Alien Squad Leader.
While I purchased a starter set with 15mm figures, I plan to also play it with my 6mm and 10mm sci-fi figures.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,
I don't know if it was the 15mm "old ones," but...
Maybe I should try a little more 15mm...
It seems to work for Dafrca!
And yesterday I had a FABULOUS date with a BEAUTIFUL woman!
And, better yet, she seemed to be really into me. And I'd love to return the adulation.
Remind me to do that again some time...
And the other irony is that on Sunday, I have another date... with a different woman.
And I interviewed for a management job yesterday as well. I prefer the date.
Today, I'll be playing some GMT "Sword of Rome"... great game.
And the other good news is that I'll probably have DSL later today, finally ending my period of SLOW modem-based Internet... my fingers are crossed.
Maybe nice guys don't ALWAYS finish last...
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,
http://dicepool.com/catalog/quiz.php
You are looking at a:
D6
You are a good old-fashioned six-sided cube, otherwise known as a d6. Others know you to be plain, predictable, conservative, average, ordinary, and downright boring. You prefer to describe yourself as dependable, honest, practical and trustworthy. People usually know what to expect from you, since you rarely hold any surprises. You hate to make decisions, and if forced to decide, you'll always fall back on how it was done in the past. You always order the same thing at your favorite restaurant, and your jokes, while funny, are never too offensive. It seems that you are well liked, but maybe that's simply because there's nothing to hate.
Anyone that knows me can cite a few differences, but...
That was fun!
"You hate to make decisions, and if forced to decide, you'll always fall back on how it was done in the past."
Hah! I've rocked the boat more times than there are letters in that sentence!
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

I like it too.
GMT makes some great games. Their GBOH series can be a bit heavy but War Galley and Down In Flames are amongst my all-time favourites.

d12: Romantic, unsual, creative: if you say so!
You are the rare, the overlooked, yet incredibly useful dodecahedron: the d12. You are a creative, romantic soul. You often act without thinking, but make up for your lack of plans with plenty of heart. You easily solve problems that stump others, but your answers tend to put you into even deeper trouble. You write long, detailed backgrounds for all your characters, and are most likely to dress up as one or get involved in cos-play. You can be silly at times and are easily distracted by your own day dreams, but are at the end of the day you're someone who can be depended on.
That was fun... enjoy the dating Maksim, one day it will all be over, no more chase, no more adrenaline, no more suspense, only shopping at the supermarket and prepping dinner...

Hi Jimbo and Gang,
Jimbo: Is this an April Fool? |
While, the good Lord knows I can be a bit of a fool (maybe more), it...
Actually was... pregnant pause...
...
...
...
It was all...
TRUE!
Except... pregnant puase.
...
...
...
The DSL thing, but I wanted that to be true.
My roommate has a DSL router, but we can't get my computer to piggyback off the router despite "how easy" they told us it would be to do. I bought a wireless piggy unit and get good signal, but somehow it doesn't want to connect to the Internet so I may be stuck with a dial-up modem for longer than I'd like.
My cousin, the "expert," will probably come over later this week and see if he can slay the "dragon."
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

All the best Maksim, hope you didn't mind my little joke!
Hope all goes well for you mate.
As for the wireless thingy, you probably have two routers on your network. You need to configure the wireless router as a wireless access point, in other words configured to NOT distribute IP addresses.
Which wireless piggything do you have?

No worries, mate!
Personally I've always felt that daying is a little like trying to clear a minefield... sometimes you clear the entire field and the rest of the time...
You get an unpleasant surprise.

Sounds good...

The primary router (in the roommate's room) is a "2Wire" the the phone company, SBC Pacific Bell, sent us, while...
The wireless router is a "Cisco Systems" model.
We did a lot of research and the "Cisco Systems" was really well rated...
We just can't get the damn thing to hook up!
Connectivity good, software good...
Just somehow, the Internet won't transmit from the primary router to the wireless router to my computer in the other room.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
